EROtero
Holy shit, What are you doing on a car forum? You should be designing cars. I dig it. What are the specs on the car? Expected gains from down pipes, etc? It's either fortunate or unfortunate, but catbacks almost never add more than a couple hp these days. The stock systems are that good. They just don't always sound that good As I previously mentioned... I doubt I gain much hp from this as the stock system flows very well as it is, but it will definitely sound badass. I will post pics of the instal and sound clip once its all in.
kirks5oh
As I previously mentioned... No gains from the downpipes?
Aaron
I'd think with intake, downpipes, cutback and a tune you'd be looking at 25hp. Car has a 3.6 VR6 275hp, 265tq haldex awd and a tq converted auto weighs about 3850lbs i think?

EROtero
Down pipes are in! Guess what I'll be doing this weekend... http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/FF38FB32-057D-42D8-95EF-6936BBECBBE9_zpsfnhx8nee.jpg
Versluis
What downpipes did you go with?
Grudes
Looks good. Hopefulley they came with the gaskets
EROtero
Yes, gaskets and stainless steel bolts were included. Versluis: These dp's were made by Devon (Lucifer) in the UK. You can find him at VWVortex forum by R32.DEVIANT. They are exact same as Miltek at half the cost. Many others have them on their R32s and had good experiences with fitment, so I thought I would try them. We'll see how it goes is weekend. Patterson
Glorious noises are glorious. Not stock, but not overly loud. Well done.
SRTurbo04
I believe I saw you today around 1230 off 23 heading towards Delaware, if so far looks real nice! But man is there any way to tuck those mufflers up a little bit? I'm not sure if that's the look you're going for but they seem to hang out and stick out a alot. Rest of the csr flows real smooth then bam mufflers lol.Just my 2 cents.
zeitgeist57
Love it! Sounds great too...if I'm being picky at the video, UGHH at the automatic transmission and it's rev-effect when shifting. That would drive me nuts. From a fellow Passat owner, I commend what you've done, sir!:thumbup:

I will try to adjust things a bit but most likely will have to add a hanger in a couple places to make it look better. It needs a good wash too hahaha... Love it! EROtero
Took a couple hours today and adjusted the exhaust hangers. Had to heat them fuckers up to bend them out, they were pretty hard. Now no more "pipes on the ground" Whatcha think? http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/6442F941-6168-4998-8E16-E030C9D1B9F1_zps8iy84owi.jpg http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/6C17D135-48D7-46B4-B166-A2DE05EB01C8_zps9sh1sulb.jpg
