Funny story about it is, after meeting him the first time, 15 minutes into talking to him I asked if he knew a guy I use to know in the car scene. He said they were like best friends from way back. The world - and especially in our early development as an industrialized society - used to place a much higher regard towards people that were truly gifted at a skill or trade. It's sad that we've devolved into such a consumer-driven and disposable society. I agree with your comments above, gents - but part of me does wistfully think of the tradesmen of our past that took great pride in truly going above and beyond to make something right. The one guy taking pictures (Paul Dalton) is the guy who basically revolutionized properly selling high end details. I too was a little underwhelmed by his working space. He has alot of nut swingers but he's good and he continually sells the top of the top jobs in the industry. He went after a market and made a name for himself and has really broken down barriers in educating people on the time and effort that really goes into some of these jobs, much like Todd did here in the states.
