I've been all over and lived in Houston for the last 8-years and can honestly say I'm looking forward to moving back to Ohio. Many places listed that are just crazy IMO but enjoy it if that's what you wish.

 

I can tell you my cost of living has dropped considerably moving back to OH. My car insurance went down $800 a year alone. Everything else has dropped in price as well. Well see come winter if I feel the same way...
