Geeto67
http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/ctd/5973831518.html Is this one of those mexican mustang notch backs? or is this just a regular capri with a hatch that the picture hides so it looks like a notch back? Seems off but that may be because I am used to seeing capri's with the 1983+ bubble back.

iwashmycar
Bubble back came in '83. That looks like a normal 82 to me. The Mexican Mustang ones dont have the Capri front fenders with the flares in them like that one has. Does have the wrong taillights
truckin
It's a regular hatchback Capri. Not all were bubble backs but thought the 83+ were. Maybe it. Was swapped out.
zeitgeist57
Seems like a cool Fox-body for $2500... I am digging that hatchback-but-with-the-notchback-quarter-glass...kinda like an early '80s interpretation of a '70s Sportback.
Miller
It's just an '82 Capri. I believe the bubble was an option until 83-86 when they all shared it. http://vb.foureyedpride.com/picture.php?albumid=21&pictureid=

Blackout the chrome trim, add a 93 cobra wing, stripe the tails accordingly, and some wheels youd have a really sick fox. Those flared fenders just rock compared to the Ford counterpart

zeitgeist57
Old foxes LOL Agreed. Cool cruisers, but I wouldn't spend too much time or money making them competitive in motorsports, since EVERYONE knows there are much better platforms to start out with. I have to disagree on that, imo theirs not many cars with a better platform to do so much with than a fox. Drag, road race, auto x etc. and with parts readily available and reasonably priced. iwashmycar
And a lot of us had one. I regret selling my 90 every day. Want another if I could.

I dig that thing, save for the auto and red interior. :barf: Good find Geeto.
RCode04
Judging by the siding of the building where it is parked, it looks like Mexico.
