Looks like a matchbox car. I never would imagine someone could make the ssr uglier but then this gold is found! Mankind never ceases to surprise me.

"We have owned over 650 SSRs"...

WTF? I don't understand this saying. You are a business that's bought/sold over 650 SSR's, or you are a collector that finds the need to fill your warehouses with SSR's?

I like hamburgers but I'm pretty sure I've not eaten 650 of them in my life...let alone cars.

Hot Wheels. Matchbox doesn't have near the original and weird designs that hot wheels has. I mean they added a toilet car this season to the lineup. A different one. yes there are multiple hot wheels toilet cars.

IF there is one redeeming feature of the dino-SSR or whatever that it, it's that its a 400hp LS2 with a 6 speed stick.

I always thought SSR's were all autotragic.

me too!!!!!

It turns out all 2003-2004 5.3L ones are autotragic. the 2005-2006 ones got the LS2 6.0L and an optional 6MT.

because it uses a derivative platform of the Trailblazer, there are some guys that looked for wrecked 6speed ones to convert their TBSS to RWD manual, moslty for the pedals, mounts, and brackets.

I've definitely eaten 650 hamburgers in my life! That's less than 20 a year. I've never had the desire to own a single SSR though.

1) Step up your hamburger game.

2) That's all the SSR's still in existence. Most were put out of their memory long ago via fire or the shameful owner paying someone names, "Stitch", to drive them into quarry's.

Very true. Great point.

Awesome.

Saw that on Jalopnik. The rear end is tragic. Can't believe someone commissioned that body work and someone paid to complete it.

While I'm here...

For the last 20-30 years as a car guy, I struggle with a $5k car turned into a $30k car...throw as much go-fast parts into a shopping cart as you can, and while you're at it throw some wheels on the shopping cart! Hell....just run the shopping cart since everything's already in it.

Scary thing is in reality there's more than $30k in parts and work on that thing...that's the "discounted" sale price.

It looks horrendous and the picture with the rear hatch down looks atrocious. Couple people posted in the comments other wagons build using the Taurus/Sable hatch and they look much better.

Popped up on Facebook ad.

Might be the lighting, probably just the wheels, but this car looks awesome. ....aside from the auto and potential accident.
