zeitgeist57
Hope everyone is safe...same for friends and family! As a weather buff, I was transfixed by the radar images...we get tornado warnings in Franklin County but I hadn't seen so much rotation in storms since I can remember. Sad to see some of the damage out of Dayton, but I'm a little surprised that there wasn't more damage being reported this morning. I heard Circleville got walloped...Pataskala looked like something should've happened but must not have touched down.
Cordell
They reported on the news of an unconfirmed tornado about 2 miles from my house (between Gahanna and Pataskala in Blacklick), but not sure it actually happened. It was a little strange to watch the wind pick up and slow down that much multiple times in about 15 minutes. Otherwise nothing happened and I didn't see any damage when I left for work this morning. Otis Nice
I heard Circleville got walloped... Played xBox through it all while watching the radar and chatboxing. Sirens went off 11 times. Tornado supposedly touched down somewhere here but I haven't even been outside yet since I'm working from home. Heard heavy rain but that's about it. SPL_Josh
Dayton got the worst of it. Tornados and hail damage
Geeesammy
Lotta friends in big trouble by me. We had 2 near misses from my understanding, the most devasting shifted south of my house, I was within 2 miles of it. I’ve seen debris all morning while out and about. excell
Nasty stuff! Celina got walloped too. By the time it made it it to Pittsburgh it was mostly rain.
BIGGU
Rough to hear all the damage. To be honest I slept through all the commotions!
Fiji ST
I've never heard the sirens go off in the 8 years we've lived in my house, and we heard Hilliard as well as Dublin's sirens going. Wife was unnerved but the radar showed us in the gap between the one that tore through Dayton and the one that went through Marysville and Delaware. It was definitely interesting to see the intensity. Seems like storms are going to be fun this year.

Crazy stuff. I'm reminded of the Xenia tornadoes of 1974...before my time, but the stuff of Ohio weather lore...
iwashmycar
Definitely unnerving. Had spent 14hrs/day moving into the brand new house all weekend in Lewis Center to wake up to the crazy lightning ect....weather people saying we were going to die ect....no sirens surprisingly. Fiji ST
The Living Room strip club, Rite Aid and Family Dollar were among the North Dixie business damaged during a suspected tornado in Harrison Twp.:no::no:
aussiek2000
NWS confirmed one out by Zanesville as well. Yeah, small one hit in roseville (outside zanesville) but I don't think anything was damaged other than land
Versluis
Customer and good friend of mine lost his business on North Dixie. Decent size electrical contractor and the building is done, lost his office, one truck ended up 50yards down the street into a building, multiple bucket trucks, storage garage completely blew away, etc. The photos he sent me literally looks like a bomb went off. There was a two story house to the left and right of his shop. One of them lost the entire second floor and the other house got picked up from the foundation and moved a couple feet. Two days before he drove me away in my wedding in a 53’ Chevy and now he lost his business. Crazy. ODoyle
I was down trying to help clear brush and debris in Trotwood on Wednesday. Its a mess. We were in Beavercreek on Friday and it was even worse. Insurance adjusters were out in force cutting checks and taking care of the policy holders. People were driving around offering cold water and donated food for volunteers to eat. The sense of community after something like this is amazing. Some people lost everything but they are balls deep with a chainsaw helping everyone else put their life back together.

[emoji21] Good news is our company kicked in and started up a great go fund me page to help out and with over 6000 co workers support and ability to offer time off days they should pull through okay.
