rslocum
After reading a ride report about someone going down in the curve that was the subject of my OP in this thread does anyone think I should make a shorter OP in an original thread about this curve? I know sometimes I don't read a post if I open it and see all them words. I am trying to get a thread that more people will read; this curve will take people out. Hopefully we can prevent as many people from here as possible from getting bitten by it. Okay, maybe now that I'm not working I might just be a post whore.I definitely wish I read this thread before I fell victim to that dreaded corner . rslocum
Shit happens no big deal. Maybe for future 536 rides if anyone has any new rider in their group that might not be familiar with the road maybe give them a little heads up about this crazy corner. enenen
man, i want to get down there and ride some good roads once I have a working bike again.problem is, none of my buddies have bikes, and I highly doubt I'm anywhere near the riding ability of most here. Haven't been riding long, never done a track day, etc. I would hate to slow down the group or whatever. If I'm going to go all the way down that way, I'd probably wanna stay somewhere and make a riding weekend out of it. Are there any decent cheap hotels down that way? InyaAzz
You won't slow the group down. The group (at least the people I would ride with) will wait for you at the next intersection. You just ride your pace and don't try to catch up to someone (biggest mistake, IMHO).
