Just comments the instructors make during the class about gov't control, etc.

I was discussing CHL with my neighbor last night, mainly referring to her having horses, and whether they were gunshy. She was telling me that her husband took the class, and afterward decided not to follow through, due to all the legal warnings he got at the end of the class.

If you going to carry then train, that why we offer advance training plus it reduces liablity on you, that you continued to get training with your handgun. The crminals have guns why shouldn't the good guys have them and train for any situtation.

Do you have any info on your advanced classes? I might be interested in taking one sometime.

November 12th you will need at least 100 rounds of ammo, class is about 6 hours and cost is $50, we cover shooting from barricade, right, left handed shooting, shooting from the ground ( ground fighting ), multipile target engagement, same thing the Police Academy covers for Street Officers.

@ Chief: If one's mobility is somewhat hampered due to a bulging disc in the lumbar portion of their spine, would that person be graded down if it takes them a moment or two to go from standing to kneeling to ground?

I can get there, I just incur a fair amount of pain/discomfort.

Trigger finger is unaffected... :D

Are I/OWB holsters required/recommended/not allowed?

Very interested in the advanced class.

I just finished mine with Target World in Cincinnati. I HIGHLY recommend a man named Keith Nelson. He is VERY informative in ALL aspects of gun handling, shooting and history of different guns. He was a former armed force specialist and really know his stuff. It is a very laid back informal session that I think you will enjoy. When scheduling with Target World, I would ask for him so you do not get someone else. There is 10 hours of class and two hours of range time. You can bring your own gun or rent one of their's for $6.00 and your ammo.
