Not sure tho.Heard it on the news this morning.... coyotes are in season YEAR ROUND so long as you have a hunting license.

SWing'R
So, group coyote hunt? I don't think I could shoot one, to much like a dog. Unless of course the thing was attacking me, all bets are off then.

Speed
They'll draw dogs out... This is what they'll do. 'Play' with a dog or whatever and lure it out for their pack to kill. Bad idea to let any dog play with one.OR sent an auto email about getting people to come back last week
MidgetTodd
I've hunted a lot of things but how exactly do you skunk hunt?I've got alot of them out here, just look out the window everytime I pass by from dusk on and every few days I'll see one and turn the laser on and bang. Also catch em time to time pulling in the driveway. Would like to find their nest or a way to bait them.
Jester851
Get a squawk box T- Set it out about 100 yards and don't take your booger picker off the bang button. All kinds of fun!

speedytriple
Have yet to go yote hunting would .223 be good for this? Skunks around here like grubs, the yards in the back of our development got grubs real bad this year. They also got a ton of skunks this summer also. speedytriple
So then we don't do a group hunt during gun season( I will be hunting deer that week anyway) So is a .223 a good round for coyotes, with say a 62 grain vmax?
MidgetTodd
Yep it's fine. I use 7.62x39
speedytriple
What range are most shots taken from? Online they all seem to be real close or over 100yrds. If I was gonna zero my scope what would be a good distance to use for yotes? Right now it is spot on at 75yrds, a little low at 100.
