I have a friend and his wife coming in from England next week (20th-26th).

Anyone have any ideas of stuff do do?

Anything going at Mid Ohio that week?

the shooting range is a great idea I know when people come to my work from Germany they love to shoot they are not aloud to own guns there and many from over there have never fired a gun

My friend did ask about shooting. We are not to far from the Powder Room in Powell.

Can you rent guns from there? I am still a gun'less 1/2 American.

I would assume you can; Blackwing and New Albany (AimHi) have rental guns.

edit: looked online, yes - Powder Room rents semi autos and revolvers. I would call ahead and make sure they're open - they've had issues in the past and last I heard about three weeks ago a co-loafer at work went there to shoot on a Tuesday or Wednesday and they weren't open.

highly recommend this. Beers are amazing and that food is just as good. Tie that in with a trip to the Westside Market which is down the street and you won't be hungry for 3 days

If you make it by the west side market, you are not that far from Garage Bar, which could almost be like the Ace Cafe in England. Not really sure, since i have not been to the Ace Cafe.

Yeah, the English are unimpressed by our beers also, they have been brewing tasty beer there for decades, not just in the past few like our microbrew craze.
