psyco1
If that Greenland cap melts, say goodby to Britains mild temperature inducing Gulf Stream and hello to "Holy shit it's COLD" continental like winters.
ReconRat
If that Greenland cap melts, say goodby to Britains mild temperature inducing Gulf Stream and hello to "Holy shit it's COLD" continental like winters.Too late. The existing shift in Atlantic currents has covered Britain completely in snow twice already. A drastic change in weather.
ReconRat
Good chance of colder Winters? I was watching the History Channel, about the Iceland Rift. A volcanic area under ice. When the ice melts, the pressure removed releases the volcanoes and lava. Which lets loose volcanic gases, that cool the atmosphere in the Northern hemisphere, which results in a bit of ice age. Which of course, puts the ice back where it was over the Iceland volcanoes and puts it back the way it was before.Pretty much a self regulating planet. I don't think we really know how lucky we are.
