Thanks guys. I just started riding a couple years ago and this is my first bike. The pictures make it look a bit nicer than it is, but for a 34 year old bike, it is still very nice. Not a show bike but a nice regular ride.

I have about $2,000 into it. Bought it off of craigslist for $1,000. It was dirty as hell but ran good, the paint was good, the tank was clean inside, the chrome had very little pitting, and it had new tires. Had some ugly pipes on it and a stupid looking king and queen seat. $250 for a NOS seat, $300 for some used pipes, and then the rest was minor repairs and maintenance. I had the guys at WBS Fabrication rebuild and sync the carbs, and fix a couple other little things.

I also have a 1975 GL1000 that is a bit cleaner overall, but needs about $1,500 of parts, painting, and minor repair to be a reliable rider. I hope to get to it this year, but with two kids in college the discretionary funds are a bit low!

Newest edition...2006 Yamaha R6 Anniversary Edition with new oil pan :) Paid 5k for this. Has some slight rash on the right side. Installed flush mounts, fender eliminator, and cut sliders. Still need new 'shoes' for it.

R6 looks good zorro. Track only or you going to bring it out for any street rides?

thx. I'll be doing both with it. I f'ed up the payment and I'm still waiting on the title. So, once it comes...I'll have it out for sure.

For those that don't know or weren't following the "2009 Yamaha" thread,

I ditched the scooter and got a freakin nice ass bike yesterday.

I have the one and only "2009 Yamaha FZ6R" in the area (for now), mine was the first one HNW sold.

I got it last night, so stay off the streets of Hilliard for the next few days while I learn to ride! :D

Here is a stock photo....
