Anyone else like doing photos of lightening

Takes a special camera to be able to catch it.

It's like the pic I took of My fiance shooting her 1911. I totally did nto think it would catch the slide coming back forward or the shell ejecting. It was cool.

I've been able to do with my set up at a combative skills class. Now I gotta find the pictures to prove it.

great shots. Haven't had the chance to get out and take some storm pictures. Had a chance at Mid Ohio during the AMA's but couldn't get to the far side of the track to get the time and scoring tower in the pictures.

I really like my carbon fiber tripod, but still worry about the lightning strikes. Beaverun was no fun last weekend standing next to armco (guardrail) as the sky was lighting up.
