RSparky
That sounds cool. You have to be on they mobile network, and playing music though. I foresee a battery killer.

TenTwelve
I'd just like to add that the updated "I <3 Radio" app for iOS and Android is really nice now. I think it plays a better selection than Pandora or Slacker.
conn-e-rot
Sounds like a cool concept but I think it will kill the battery
pittsm
I think it would eat through your data as well.
idodishez
I think it would eat through your data as well.Same as pandora. Hardwired USB charger to battery. Grandfathered in unlimited data plan. Now I just need a BT headset for my helmet
Siacono
I haven't noticed any more of a batt drain than usual but I use my phone alotdata is unlimited for me.... I modded my phone so I can wifi hotspot at no additional cost too
pittsm
i definitely don't have unlimited. thatd be nice, but it'd eat through my data plan in a couple days probably
Scruit
My droid X has an FM tuner in it so I can just listen to the radio without data issues. I have tried "I heart radio" but it drops out and rebuffers several times during my ride. I usually silent for a minute or two, but sometimes is silent for the rest of the ride.I don't interact with the phone while I'm riding so I usually just put it on wnci and leave the phonein the tank bag. I have tried a small radio too (with big buttons I can press through the clear top of my tank bag) but it uses the headphone wire as an antenna (same as droidx) so I need a longer headphone wire for better reception. So what about pandora?

idodishez
Does pandora carry dave & jimmy? That's what I listen to.That like bob & Tom?There's also tune in radio, similar to iheart radio. But if all you need/want is fm, then I guess there's fm:)
