Awesome weekends with my cousins spent crushing 2-liters of JOLT cola, rewinding our JX-7's and 440X2's, racing 3 different tracks that filled the bedrooms upstairs while running room to room like a pack of tweekin' crackhounds!!:lol:

Oh yes, had this little rifle range but didnt work like we "thought" it should so the gun ended up an outdoor "war" toy:D

Sweet fun! I had 2 of these and they'd haul ass across the carpet until the collected hairball wrapped the rear wheel up tight......then it was 'Mom! This is broken....'

I used to beg for Christmas paper and paper towel rolls to make my own rockets. No fancy parachutes on my rockets. Fast up and fast down like Surface to ground missiles.:D

I played with model rockets quite a bit and 'devised' my own from a flashlight tube and a D-sized engine, but like you I didnt worry about a parachute - instead we crammed a roman candle in it with the report charge placed against the fuse......it blew up in 6 different colors:D

Who remembers the Nascar style car with the toolbox and impact wrench? The toolbox held the batteries and is was wired to the impact. That was for tire changes.

You could also change the front fender for a crinkled one.

I think the car was orange.

I'm guessing it was a 70's toy.

My brother and I had a Tonka "Transporter" when we were 7 & 8 yrs old that we could ride down the grass hill at the back of our house. Solid chunk of metal. Impossible to damage.
