According to the warrant that was issued on Monday, the alleged crime was discovered after a company installed surveillance cameras and recording equipment at the man’s home.

Cliffs: Man gets ADT-style cameras installed in his home. Called them for tech support. Started fondling a boy in his bed while waiting for tech support to contact him. Tech support logged into the cameras unannounced to fix the problem he reported. They saw him fondling the boy. Police get called...

I install cameras like this as part of my job, and yes it is very easy to do what happened here since we are

The one who installed them and have all ip addys and passwords. But it does seem like some sort of permission should be granted. I hope this guy gets locked up, but wouldn't be surprised if he gets off for invasion of privacy or some search warrant technicality.
