Gixxus Christ!
Just got body work and new paint, want to protect it from mayhem. Ebay is full full of different brands and types. So what does everyone roll with?

ohdaho
I use vortex frame sliders...simple and solid. saved my plastics a couple times in the garage when I was just learning to ride. The spiegler LSL ones look like the tits.
Hailwood
I had the LSL on my Speed Triple when I went down a couple years ago and they worked very well to protect the frame and just allow the bike to slide and scrub off speed. It was pretty easy to get replacement parts for them as well.I've also heard pretty good things about the Motovation stuff as well. Gixxus Christ!
Wow, those lsl pads are spendy compared to the ones I've seen on Ebay.
Bad324
if the ebay ones for your bike are anything like the ebay ones on my old cbr then they are junk. get what you pay for but if you're more worried about saving the paint then results from an actual crash they are fine for that! 2talltim
Mine are custom made by a fellow TL guy in england, you could pull a plow with them if you wanted to, but i guess that helps you in absoultly no way so illl STFU now:D
Moto-Brian
For tip overs, they work. Otherwise, you'll damage the bike more than without if the bike slides off pavement... If you tip bikes over in the garage a lot, good choice to buy. Otherwise, buy some fuel for your rides as it is worth more to buy...
