JStump
Just thought of something, how do you register a trailer to get plates? Is there a title or something? How does this work?
J_Copeland
Call your local scrap yard and see if they will certify the weight of your trailer.Get a weight slip,Head to your local BMV and get plates.

standout
Another thing to add. If doing the install yourself don't use the stupid scotch quick connects If the wiring is outside the car (like behind the taillights but not in the body). Im haveing an electrical nightmare right now rewiring all my taillights because the previous owner used these and did no waterproofing so all the cooper inside the wires corroded over time. Such a nuisance.
JStump
I have the plug and play harness coming, I have done splicing and quick connects in previous cars and it never ends well. I am doing everything right on this car because I don't want to ruin my brand new car.

JStump
Went to my parents today to install my hitch because I realized my dad had stands, ended up mounting pretty easy once I figured out the trick to getting the bolts through the frame. 2talltim
looks good mayne!..did they give you that little wire thing with the piggy tail on the end to thread the bolts? that think was the bomb when i did mine
JStump
Yeah but it kinda sucked. It would allow the bolt to thread on like butter but getting it back off was a pain in the ass. Using it was pretty easy though once you get the hang of it.
