On used fairings that need redone it wouldnt be a bad idea and a inexpensive fix but not perfect ones that you may wanna go back to original. Not so good...... Clearcoat, as we know it, is not a good thing to use if you want to peel it off. scheetz31 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Share Posted October 29, 2012 dont scuff anything if your wanting to remove down the road...i didnt. Clean wells with some acetone or something similar. Go light on the first 2-3 coats, then you can lay it down a bit thicker. I put about 6-7 coats on my wheels...the more the easier to remove when you want.
