new battery

I have a spare charger you are welcome to borrow, I am still off of work so I have spare time on my hands. I really would go buy a new battery for it "just in case", and Wallyworld probably does have the best deal. The Pony would have a battery for you no doubt, but might be pricey. Nappa also sells really good batteries, I put a new one in my Vstrom before I sold it. Let me know, would be more than happy to stop by and see what I can do? I am fairly knowledgeable about motorcycles, so don't worry. :D

Sweet. Thanks. I really appreciate it. I am planning on buying a new battery. Just gotta figure the financial stuff out first.

I can still drop off my charger if you like, can at least work on trying to get it charged up?

Ninja lady - Ryan still works his other full time job I believe, so be patient or send him a PM on here and he'll get back to you. He'd be your best bet to be honest at getting this fixed.

thanks. I know when I know I can get my bike to him, I def would love for him to look at it. Which I should be able to do once I move.

and haha you called me Ninja lady.....fyi, I am not much of a lady.

Thanks. That would be awesome. That way dont have to worry about trying to jump it and then it not running. I'm at work today til 4.

Shoot me a PM with your info.....do you always work till 4, or off any through the week?

better safe than sorry.

I can understand the sentiment.

99% of the time jumping goes bad because the jumper cables barely fit and people let the positive hit the frame, subframe. Them BAM!

This does happen, short circuits are rarely good for electronics.

That can still happen with car off.

indeed.
