C-bus
I'm looking for a very specific trade.... My pristine AR for your safe queen 12 gauge Browning Citori O/U. I'm looking for the person who bought one and doesn't do as much hunting/trap shooting as you thought you would.Edit: No longer available. 4DAIVI PAI2K5
What are those shotguns going for?
Hydrant
There are a vast window of Browning Citori's. What exactly are you doing with it? http://www.browning.com Get an idea of what your after first. I'd stick with Browning. I have a 625 Sporting with adjustable comb 30" barrels, and it was under $$$$. There are basic field guns, which might be around $1500 is or therebouts.Check out http://covecreekoutfitters.com/ (this is where I bought my Citori)or http://www.gunbroker.com That will give you a good idea on the market.See what fellow member 8mm Dale can do on them too. C-bus
I've spent a fair amount of time on the trap field and have been doing a bit more pheasant hunting lately (a business associate and I have been going.... It's the new golf). My old Wingmaster gets the job done, but I'm a little handicapped when we hit the sporting clays course as well as my fixed full choke being a little tight for close birds. My aim was a middle of the road Citori... Ideally 28-30". The satin hunters are in my range at a little less than $1500 new, but maybe there is someone bored with a higher end gun. With trades, value is what it is worth to me vs what yours is worth to you. I'd feel like a dick selling a $900 AR for $1500, but maybe it's worth gun for gun to someone. I'm actually in conversation right now with someone who has a Citori trap with 30" barrels. Crossing my fingers.
Hydrant
Agreed,Right now, your on the right end of the table. Your willing to trade what everyone has been craving. Hopefully, it works out for ya. May also want to try putting up a flyer at the local trap / sporting clay ranges stating what your offering. walther_gsp
Shop around. I found a gently used Citori White Lightening for $1200 a few months back. They MSRP for 2k and sell for 1800 new.
speedytriple
OH Yeah I just got a vintage mossy 500 cheap here from a member here. LOL! Wish I had a need for a o/u gun. I only shoot my shotguns once a year to sight them in for deer season..
C-bus
Found one today! It cost me a 6 year old chief special 9mm that I just picked up and a NIB 642. It's a Browning Citori Special Sporting Clays with 30 inch ported barrels. It's been we'll-loved, but in great shape.
