Tim has. She posted today on Kent’s FB about it. First we all heard. She’s sold his bikes and Jeep. She’s looking to donate/give away his riding gear.

Anybody been in contact with Connie? Does she need anything?

My heart is heavy. Kent was always a great guy. Always willing to help. Always fun to hang out with. Godspeed, friend.

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you all the news that we lost one of our own. @Howabusa Kent Howard (Robert K. Howard) Kent passed away at his home on Sept 12,2025 of an unknown illness. Many of us have ridden with Kent on his old Hyabusa and more recently on his FJR. Spent many a night at deal's gap with him and chasing each other around the Appalachian Mountains. His passing was very unexpected and shared with me by his widow Connie. There was no services and has been laid to rest next to his father. Just a few weeks before his passing he did get one last trip to Deals Gap and got one last lick at those mountains and slayed the dragon for old times sake. And I'm sure he wanted you all to know his FJR hit 124,000miles during that trip.. 😂..an inside joke his good friends will get. Ride on my old friend you will be missed.

If I thought you were gonna break it, I wouldn't offer to lend it. If it breaks while you're riding it, that's just coincidence. Shit happens. I get where you're coming from, but the offer stands if you need a change of pace. You can ride any of them, actually. The ZRX is pretty fun if you like lots of speed with minimal braking available. 😆

The Goldwing has plenty of hustle for my 2 up passenger. Ame was actually starting to ease into riding a faster pace then a buddy went and wrecked his bike recently. Now if I break 65mph my music gets interrupted by my wife telling me I need to slow down 🤦‍♂️. I just need to convince her I need a bike for solo trips. Then I can get something capable of doing what I want it to. Thanks for the offer. I’m always scared to ride others stuff. I’m nervous about breaking somebody’s stuff. Care less about breaking my own because I’ll either fix it or just stuff it in a corner and forget about it. Hope you’re doing well.

Swapped the touring windscreen for OEM and replaced the CRG-knockoff levers for OEM, but black vs chrome. Looking better each mod... Now I just need Santa to bring me gold suspenders.

Oh, rode yesterday... lunch in Roscoe Village and then a short break at Muskie cause it's been a few years.

@durk, you should take the RT for a ride one weekend. It is probably the best compromise of 2-up and hustle you can get in a tourer, next to the K1600GT... which I can't lend you because I don't have one.

I mounted new ContiRoads for the RT while Amanda grilled lunch. Good day so far.

It's on the lead now. That said we only need top three to make the calendar. But first is always way better.

I miss some things about those days sure, but they center mostly around the people and not the insane number of miles trying to haul ass lol. I’m much happier now just toodling along on some back country road, waving at the cows and looking for that perfect spot to set up my chair, get out the stove and make some coffee and have a puff all while looking at the sky. Even riding the enduro, there will be days of long highway hauls, awful weather and shitty road conditions. It’s all part of it. I’ve been fishing a bit with an old friend, and got this beautiful northern pike a few weeks ago, in the upper Cuyahoga River! That’s been helping keep me sane
