Doing ok. Caring for my elderly father. Going stir crazy wishing I was in the road again….anywhere. Horizons Unlimited is having their first ever travelers meeting in NY state next month, and I was asked to present there about my travels. So my niece is covering for me here at my Dad’s, and I’ll be riding to Canandigua NY on 10/8 for the event running the 9-12. It’ll be nice to see some friends there as well. Yep, retired this spring. It awesome. Don't let the new goldwings fool you, they are rockets but I have slowed down. Would love to meet up and Fishers is a great idea. This coming week I am free each night except Tuesday. Tuesday night I am going to shoot little kids with a high powered BB gun.

What you have here is my Super Sport Goldwing. She is fast, agile, corners like she’s on rails, and stops on a dime. NOT!!! I took a solo trip of the same route my wife and I went on last weekend just at a different pace. Nobody poking, squeezing my ribs etc. to slow down. It’s the most I’ve been engaged on a ride in a while. I miss having a sport bike. I tried to ride it like it was a sport bike but I’m not sure it liked it. Lots of near redline rpm’s and a time or 2 on the rev limiter 🤷‍♂️. Still in one piece and running though Someday soon I’ll get a more competent bike. Just had to drop 5k on a transmission rebuild for the Trans Am. Sadly that rebuild has issues and has to go back to the builder. Hope you guys are doing well.

2012 pushing 80 thousand no breakdowns no oil leaks and still not burning oil. But cant claim the same for myself been a tough couple of years. But all is good for now. Got in about 250 miles this week. Heading out tomorrow on a 300 mile run to say goodbye to a old friend. Its getting to common now. Jim maybe we can meet up at Fishers in Peninsula for a beer or coke before the snow flies I imagine you are retired by now. I Heard you bought a land yacht (Goldwing) some were. Your bike shouldn't be using any oil. If it is check valve seals and ring blow by. Oh wait it's a Harley, that normal. 🤣

Most health experts these days recommend using a water-based lube. Less messy and easier clean-up on the sheets, too.
