You won't notice a thing during your normal riding. But you should teach yourself that in an emergency braking situation you now grab both brakes as hard as you can. Practice it one day on a dry road. Straight line super hard braking stop. You will be amazed how fast it stops.

ABS will be different for me. But I am happy with her. The red was the wrong red and 6 weeks out. They had tye naked 500 red and abs, almost bought it. Same with the 4RR. I had so many choices, and really had a hard time deciding. More road vs track and distance riding is why the 500. Got the clothed version for aerodynamics on tue highway.

I ordered a new side by side so the two I have currently need to go...I currently have for sale a 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000R special edition with 1,000 miles on it and a 2014 RZR 900XC. The Yamaha is showroom condition with only modifications being a speaker unit. The Polaris has a lot of accessories (windshield, cooler, spare tire and rim, back travel cover, and tons of spare parts). My new unit will not be in for a couple of weeks so while I wait I thought I would see if anyone wanted a good deal. Prices below are what they are wanting to give me in trade. Just back to Ohio where I’ll begin prep for YT and AK departure on the 12th. I attended the Horizons Unlimited travelers meeting near Appomattox and had a great time hanging out with like minded people that don’t think you’re crazy for cashing in and leaving “normalcy” behind to create your own normal. On the way home I was hosted by Lauren and Paul Brenner at Rainbow Farm near the New River Gorge in WV. Aside from running an organic chicken farm and riding the world in their spare time (check out their YT channel “the other end of the Rainbow) they run the Appalachian Motorcycle Adventure tour company. Lauren took me for an awesome 250 mile loop through some crazy WV dirt roads. They cater to all skill levels up to hard enduro (they have one day ride with over 100 water crossings!). Just got back from Siils. Honda says end of May for the parts. I have a June 10th appointment. My spare aftermarket pump got here today. Gonna stash it in the saddlebag just for insurance.

Kinda bought it from Joe. It was Pam's deal but Joe did the paperwork and went over the delivery process. He seems like a good guy that has really learned a lot about the dealership since he has been working there. He is a pleasure to talk to when I'm there and I always learn something from him when I'm there. Apparently he can ride wheelies which is something I wish I could do. If I could you would never see me with two wheels on the ground. He also races or has done track days can't remember. He and I had a conversation about track stuff when he first started in '18 or '19? I think he has forgotten about it or doesn't recognize me because I have a full beard and long hair currently. He has recently given me some riding advice and acted skeptical when I mentioned some street riding techniques I tell new group riders. I get the opinion that he thinks I'm just some old guy that can't ride well because I didn't want to turn off all the safety devices on my bikes like he does. Fucking smug young kids!

@Uncle Punk did you buy from Joe? He used to live across the street from me when he was a young rider on a Ninja 250. I talked riding with him a few times, let him borrow stands, etc. Then ran into him many years later at Sills.
