  1. It was a mistake that members were able to see who gave rep to begin with. You can stop using the site if you like, or keep using it free without complaining. Your pick. Don't mean to sound like an ass, but I get sick of people complaining about a free website that I run for shits and giggles. This site isn't about making money. If it were it'd be loaded with ads.

  2. Let's be honest with ourselves. The feeling of new tires is awesome, so why wait 10k miles to get that feeling again. I understand they aren't cheap, but i'd rather have a better performing tire than a longer lasting tire that might not perform as well.

  4. Very small price to pay for all Ben does in my opinion. Met most of my good friends through ORDN and I'm grateful to him for bringing us all together like this. He needs a little capital to keep it all running smoothly cause that shit ain't free. Thanks bubby

  5. If you are meaning a SS tire over an ST...I would argue that at street operating temps, 97% of riders would never exceed the grip of a ST tire. I've gotten an Angel GT to slip in a corner a couple times...and I was purposely trying do it. It required an extreme lean angle and WOT, which probably isn't on the menu for the majority of riders. In fact there are many cased where a modern ST tire will have more grip. Cold weather, cold tires, wet, less than perfect road conditions, etc.

  9. Not that there's anything wrong with that

  10. They're sport touring tires so warm up isn't as important as on SS tires. They grip fine even before they warm up. They have plenty of grip to drag knees and hard parts. The main difference from a SS tire is that the turn in is a bit slower (due to a rounder profile) you'll be used to it after 1 day or 2.

  11. $10/yr to be a supporter is cheap...some sites ask for $20-30 and load it with ads if you're not a supporter. Site hosting is not cheap, not to mention the personal time spent moderating, updating, tweaking, backing up, recovering from crashes, etc, etc.

  13. Inconvenience won't get my money. It would get me to stop using the site though, which would make Tonik happy.

  14. No, I was comparing ST to ST. SS tires are for light sport bikes/track days IMO. My heavy bike would destroy SS tires due to their not made for that kind of weight. I've chattered the rear with Angel GTs on my BMW and the FJR, but mainly due to stupidity.

  15. I get about 10% more miles out of an Angel GT than I did out of the Michelins. Neither were anywhere near 10k.

  17. Used to do winter sports, then had to cut one of my expensive hobbies so skiing and snowboarding went. As for Water sports, I don't need another expensive hobby hahah. My friends try to get me to buy a jet ski every summer to cruise with them. Sent from my iPhone.

  21. I know you're wrong, but those are also the people that should get out. I will end there. I don't need to turn this in to another AT&T fiber optic thread where I own the Cleveland vs Columbus debate

  26. PR4s or Angel GTs are both amazing tires and you will be happy with either one.

  27. PR4s hands down. My current set has 5k on them and prolly 5k left on the rear. They handle the FZ09 like a dream. You can take them cross country like I did and still tear up the curves. On my trip last summer I put 4500 miles on thru 100° temps in Oklahoma, blasted thru the mountains of Colorado and the Black Hills of South Dakota, chased storms thru Minnesota on I-90 at 80+ mph, froze my ass off in 36° temps in Wisconsin making my Red Eye ferry across Lake Michigan. Only once did I have a traction scare - on a dirt road in New Mexico after a rain checking out an old abandoned church. All of that was fully loaded and 2 up. Absolutely amazing tires.

  29. I'm on my 4th set of Angel gt's. Stick really good. The fjr toasted it's stock battlax's in 4k miles. At 4k miles the Pirelli's are half tread.

  31. Isaac's Poop, what is the link to cyclist forum you created?

  32. Not uncommon at all. A lot of people buy them gut for the glory of saying they own a bike and never ride them. They are called garage queens. My wifes 07 that we bought 3 years ago only had 4500 miles on it at 6 years old. I know a guy that has a 01 gsxr with less than 9k on it, he just never rides it. With all those options out there is why I would NEVER buy a brand new bike

  36. Oh no you didn't. Tonik took care of that so no 102 for me, I have a clean slate. The OP may prove to be a douche but I have to laugh at some of the hypocrisies from people thinking that a different risk behavior is worthy of ridicule. I have rode with several people that have replied in less than legal circumstances. We are just as dangerous to others as the stunters are if not more so. I don't allow stunting on my group rides but I will go out with the stunters on their rides to follow and be entertained. It usually gets boring though and when I do go to watch I'm usually on the scooter because it's so slow. Most of them a very shitty back roads riders.

  39. I can't. I'm not a dick. The only thing I can do is bitch about it. The kids and I rescued it off the street as a kitten years ago. I will however, lightly, punch it when it attempts to rub it's actual butthole on me. Violence is justified when anything tries to rub its butthole on you.
