  1. You need to take a look in the mirror.... the bank doesn't give jack shit what the bike is worth now, they gave you what it was worth when you bought it and that is what is owed to them. You buy a new car and it depreciates 50% when you drive it off the lot.... does that mean you only have to pay 50% of the loan? No wonder this country is going to shit.

  2. This thread shows what is wrong with American culture...so many people are looking for some angle instead of just doing what they said/ signed they would do.If you play the storage card I hope they counter with motorcycle rental card since you have been using it. Like Tonik posted...if you can buy another bike you can pay for the one you signed your name on.Just do the right thing,it'll be better in the end.Besides,I wouldn't want to be riding a motorcycle with a boat load of bad karma following me around.

  4. I know they aren't high end road bikes like ya'll but the wife wants to start hitting the bike trails and such. So I pulled the old pedal machines out of hibernation. Just a couple old huffy's and my dad offered his Shimano's for me to fix up. So today I started with this, my old huffy black water made in the USA model so you know it's old. And the last time it was out my 17 yr old kid sat in that rear seat. Needed a couple tubes and to free up some shifter cables but it's riadble again. My wife has one to that's the same model. I got 3 of the 4 bikes rideable just need to clean them up and make the adjustments before the hit the bike paths. The 4th bike needs 2 rubes and break pads so I'll get it going too. I need a bike carrier, I want a Reese hitch one that will hold 4 bikes and be sturdy. But of course I don't want to spend a lot, anyone have any recommendations?

  5. I have a brand new set of Q3s 190/55 120/70. Bought for my RR but a new bike caught my eye over the weekend so I bought it and sold the RR. Wrong size for the new bike so no reason to keep them Brand new never mounted $250

  6. Got hit from behind about 30 minutes ago, was stopped at an intersection to turn left. Hugged the left side of the lane as I always do. Was waiting for a car to pass by coming the opposite direction. All of a sudden heard a crash and was flying through the air. After I landed I tired getting up but my right leg is jacked up. You should see the car. I'd say I won. Bike is totalled from what I saw. Looks like my body hit hood, head hit windshield. Bout to get x-rays on the leg, otherwise no damage. Wear your gear. Helmet saved my life, armored leather saved my body.

  7. FU Cleveland! A hockey brought you your first pro championship a week before the Cavs.Oh, and they are the Blue Jackets farm team. Chew on that! So funny that a city that was burning the Quenns jersey a few years ago is now swinging on his schwetty balls. Stay classy Cleveland.

  10. Its not your bike, your dad surrendered it in the BK. Generally speaking a surrender is a cooperative effort on all parties invovled. Just ask them where they want it and drop it off. Its the right thing to do.

  12. I'm new here, but I'm always glad to here about another rider only getting "minimal" damage when they get ran over. I hope you heal up fast and financially get an enormous settlement. How does this country want to pass laws about guns, DUI and marijuana, but it won't limit cell phone usage in moving vehicles? How many more of us have to get hurt and killed and all the driver says is "I never saw them?" Giff

  15. As far as I know, this is correct. Lien holder is responsible for the difference. True for houses, cars, etc. No idea why it'd be different for motorcycles.

  16. You were fine, I was waiting for you, but wanted to get out because the cars were stopped letting us out.

  17. You got a link to that, because every one I find says you are responsible for the difference. I find that extremely hard to believe. The Ohio Bar is pretty clear on it. https://www.ohiobar.org/ForPublic/Resources/LawYouCanUse/Pages/LawYouCanUse-664.aspx

  21. You owe them 7800 if your name was on the loan. That wont go away unless you file BK. It will go down if they take and sell the bike but a repo does not make the remaining balance go away. If you can afford the new bike, you can afford to pay them.

  23. That's it right there in the pic and it's about 3 1/2 ft from the bumper. Kinda far but it's built strong enough to take the torque and I kinda like it that way. Just have to remeber it's back there..lol

  24. Could not believe it came home from work and the bike carrier was on my porch. Walmart.com got it to me in 24 hours, I was shocked. Also I want to comment that this carrier is rock solid. Very heavy duty and welll built. And I love how modular it is and how easily it look like it's going to be to load. (Haven't done it yet). You can load 4 bikes or take the rear section off and only use it for 2. The 2 sections slide apart to make it easier to load. If I would only load 3 bikes I would still be able to get the gate open on my Tahoe. This thing is exactly what I needed and it was $80 to my door. We plan on trying it out Sunday.

  25. I ordered this, seems really heavy duty capacity of 160 lbs and a decent price. http://www.walmart.com/ip/17043484?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222228009555357&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=40838598152&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=78651590672&veh=sem

  26. Yea it's a start to get back out there. These 2 Huffy Back Waters have been hanging in my basment since we built the house back in 2002. When we lived in town we were only 5 blocks from Kokosing Gap trail and rode it all the time. Then we moved and stopped riding and got fatter. I'll post up more pics as I get them cleaned up a ready for the trails.

  27. Anyone need a kid carrier for their bike? Nothing wrong with it just need s a good cleaning, someone can have it for free if they can use it.

  28. I'll throw the bikes on the scale to see what they weigh. Most of the time it will only be 2 bikes but occasionally I'll haul all 4 if the kids want to go

  29. Just read the Huffy story on Wikipedia and it is a sad one. Now owned by the Chinese due to American greed. These very well could be some of the last bikes build in the USA by huffy. We bought them right around that time period. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huffy
