Well, I didn't get to see any Lambo LEO cars in Dubai but had a great vacation just the same. Those that are friends with me on FB may have seen these but here are some pics and a short video from the trip. It was interesting that in Indonesia, scooters are EVERYWHERE and I'd say 70% of them were Honda, 20% Yamaha and the rest were Vespa or other brands I didn't recognize. I didn't see a single Kawi or Suzuki.2 points

This is a boilerplate response. Not a single person here has said to abolish the EPA, but rather the EPA needs a tighter leash. Too many regulations are political rather than scientific. It cost us money, either directly or indirectly and does nothing but pad a pocket or support a fringe group of lunatics for political support.2 points

Some EPA regs are misguided. Not only do they result is lost jobs, but actually cause increased environmental impact.2 points

Yes. Put the axle in & support in v-grooved plywood stand. (Do this with the rotor(s) on & the grit seals removed.) Spin the wheel & see where it stops. Temporarily attach weight(s) with painters tape. Spin & repeat as necessary until the wheel stops at random points. I use about a dozen small pieces of painters tape to mark the high point where the wheel stops. When I'm done the pieces of tape are randomly positioned at points all around the wheel. Permanently attach the wheel weights in the same positions they are taped on. I have tested this method to 180 mph without problems. Then, you could just use Dyna Beads.2 points

Honestly it depends on the tire. Some tires, you line up the dot with the valve stem and they're pretty close to balanced. Other tires, you can be an ounce off. Harbor Freight static balancer is quick and easy.2 points

Ended up getting a master built portable propane smoker. Decided that I'd get more utility out of it if I could take it camping. Also, I needed to store whatever I bought in my already crowded garage. Just pulled out a rack of baby backs and some wings I started earlier today. Smoked first on whisky barrel chips, then applewood. Dry rub on both. Wings came out delicious but the skin was a bit chewy. The ribs came out great but got a bit dark on the underside (I put them in bone side down) but tasty. Plenty of smoke flavor. I'll do a brisket or maybe a Boston butt soon, need someone to share the bigger cuts with, and my wife does not eat beef or pork. Also I bought an adaptor hose to run it off my 20 lb tank because the 1 lb bottles aren't very cost effective.1 point

Have seen many motorcycle tires balanced on a dynamic machine give vibration at high speed, remove weight and balance on a static balancer and the vibration is gone. Not sure why?1 point
-
No, rotors stay on and most factory service manuals require the rotors for proper balance. I have a No-Mar static balancer.1 point

I've been looking into these. It's like a mountain bike with a motor, and it's street legal. MSRP is around $2300 http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcycles/2016/2016-ClevelandCycleWerks-Hooligan-FXR.htm1 point

Common sense EPA is fine. Over reaching EPA is not, which has been the case for a long time.1 point
