Rode the Urinal to work in the snow this morning. I was covered in salt by the time I got there. This doesn't happen on the FJR. Anyway, I washed it as soon as I got home, er...as soon as I got the hose thawed out. Utility tube full of hot water did the trick.

I have always ridden with ear buds in and have never had problems because of them. But this winter I bought a new helmet that has everything built in to it Phone, GPS, passenger to rider communication and bike to bike communication and stereo. Can’t wait to try it out on the bike instead of riding around in the car with it on got some strange looks because of that.

one month left! I've got a new battery to install (unbelievably lightweight lithium ion), and besides refilling the engine coolant it should be ready to go. I've begun a massive kitchen renov and have other financial setbacks that are gonna probably force me to a single day of riding (Sat). so at this point, i'm planning on driving down Fri and returning Sun morning, but may change plans while down there. not to be antisocial, but that means I'll have to travel solo. def need to set up an OR camping area tho.
