Get some leather conditioner. Put the gloves on and use it like hand lotion (well maybe not like some of you use hand lotion).3 points

A perfectly normal healthy back is at risk of having a sprain and slip and stuff when shoving around 700lb monster let alone days of riding on top of one. Ozark and the deals gap will be there in 2018 and most if not all of the guys will be willing to do it again. SIT THIS ONE OUT BIG GUY. Why take chances.2 points

@YSR_Racer_99, I'm surprised you even had to ask. @Isaac's Papa is our resident pasta rocket technician. He is dealer trained from what I understand and he even turns his nose up at Japanese bikes. He's in Northeast Ohio, a denizen of some white trash Hamlet called Ravenna. Solid practicioner of Ducati maintenance, you'll fine none better at any price, and his ass looks amazing in his fancy little spandex bicycle shorts.2 points

I'm in. Sorry for the late notice. I'm willing to lead or sweep for the slow group. Or if that's covered, I could do either for a medium-slow group.1 point

It's like Michael Schumacher all over...spends his entire career at the extreme limits, yet his life is practically ended by some freak accident.1 point

If someone had a promising racing career and I enjoyed watching them progress/compete, I would be concerned if they were involved in a career-ending accident no matter if they were famous or not. Just like I'd be concerned if someone on this board were involved in a serious accident. Nicky personifies the way a lot of us on this forum probably would like to live their life if all dreams came true - riding motorcycles all over the world for work. People look up to and respect him for his accomplishments and can identify with him because of his Kentucky blue-collar family background. It's just a shitty thing to happen to anyone in the motorcycling community.1 point

sv650s was my first bike, the only thing I regret is getting the S model over the standard. It became a comfort issue on rides longer than 2 hours. It was hell on the interstate (leg pain). Loved the bike after I upgraded the suspension though.1 point

Videos being archived to the YouTube now. Haven't analyzed the GPS yet to see what laptimes were, I'm guessing mid 1:40s. Nice to park next to @ludwb675 and his crew - first time seeing old friendly faces this year. 1:46s, time for you to bump up to the next group Brian! Was also really nice that the coaches/staff put together a 2 lap tribute ride to Ryan.1 point

Is that human hair poking out the top of your box? Severed head perhaps?1 point

You see alot of textile/mesh because it is more affordable than leather most of the time, and it can vent better. Yes, you sacrifice protection with a mesh jacket, but you must balance the comfort to protection ratio. Some sacrifice their protection some, so they are not sweating their ass off all day. Most textile jackets will have some sort of armor and optional back protector available. IMO, the FZ-07 is a great bike, and a bargain really. It's got enough power to be more than just a beginner bike, while still being a good choice for beginners. If you decide to order gear online, send a message to @RidersDiscount, they can get you some awesome deals.1 point

Ride was fun! Started out with back to back crashes on the initial climb. Just got em out the way right off the bat! I tend to bounce up and go after wards and left my phone behind, luckily it was spotted by motocat12 and retrieved. Thanks! Mohican can be brutal, but wasn't to bad. Getting your ass kicked on the trails beats a day in the office!1 point
