Let's meet in New Concord at 10-10:30. I figured we would pretty much take the route we did last year. I had a blast. 83-78-377-555-676-7-26-260-7-800-26-537?-260 from there I will probably run 145 back north toward home for me. Unless you want to mix it up from that @jacobhawkins. We could run 800 up to 255-7-536. Btw you kill me with the weeeee.1 point

Yea, I was referring specifically to the rally. Very dangerous for if you aren't properly prepared, which is why there's a screening process and you have to be selected. Those folks spend years in preparation.1 point

It's been thundering in columbus off and on since it woke me up at 4 this morning. Dry here now but cloudy. @NinjaDoc - your suspension rebound and compression damping should be set to factory settings until @Tpoppa, @Isaac's Papa or someone else that knows what they're doing sets it up for you. There's no "right" answer, suspension is about feel. Even with the pros on the race track, they will have their suspension tech set the bike up the way they think it should be, the rider will take the bike out, say it's doing X in corner 3 and Y in corner 7 that they don't like and the suspension tech will adjust things again. Rinse and repeat until the rider likes the way everything feels. It's more of an art than a science since "feel" is very different with every rider.1 point

Told you I'm fine riding the Duc or the Triumph for this one if you wanted to CBR it up.1 point

Yup but this mutt likes to stay dry. I don't mind getting caught in the rain I'm usually prepared for it but I'm not going to head directly into it. So I'll be a last minute decision in the morning.1 point

It's also illegal to pass on a double yellow, but I may have seen some people do that a time or two . Motorcycling isn't a safe sport, and I agree this is more dangerous than normal riding. IMO, not because of the scavenger hunt aspect, but the fatigue of the riders of riding 20+ hours for 10 days straight.1 point

First time that me and the mrs. officially 2up on a bike. There was the one time when she was prego 18 years ago i ran her a half mile up the road total squid like. But tonight was the official first time. Did 215 miles to the Valley View Bike Night. It was a great feeling because just a year or more ago we were too heavy to do this, now there is 190 lbs gone between us it was possible. Think she fell asleep on the way home..lol1 point
