My ground issue has been fixed, thanks to PhilD'oh! I rode up to his place and he fixed it, with a little help from me. We also figured out that the Yamaha recall for the S4 ground had already been done.
Thanks Phil! It was a great day! Got my FJR fixed and met a fellow FJR rider!
We usually by new because the wife is very particular about which car she wants. However then we keep it for 10 years or so, so the amortized cost isn't really that bad and she gets what she wants.
The car I drive is a 20 yr old beater. For me cars are basic transportation, I'd rather save the money for bicycles and motorcycles
Well I just got a nice deal on almost exactly what I was going to build...except the barrel isn't stainless. It came with an Anderson .223 Wylde heavy fluted barrel. Should be good for 1 moa.
Now for optics.
True story. It's just fun to play, don't have to be good and it is FREE. Plus a chance to win free swag plus a bag if you win it. Like I said, for sure the bag maybe more.
It's about learning on what you are going to ride. If you really want to get in to the track thing then by all means, buy another bike. If you just want to learn then just bring what you have.
Vacation approved...which gives me about a 51% chance of actually getting the time off. I'll be in Savannah for training until Tuesday the 17th, so I'll probably just head toward Maggie Valley and meet you all there Thursday.
The ending was incredibly special with Roger Hayden's first win since the passing of his brother Nicky Hayden.
Huge support from teammate Toni Elias.

I generally don't share much of my personal life...I felt that the photographer captured the moment exceptionally well though. I've waited over a year for the eclipse so I could get this picture and really could not be happier with the result.
The eclipse was an amazing thing to get to see and I will be in Ohio in 2024 to see it happen again.
