  1. UPDATED AND FINAL PLANS....7/10 Okay for starter this isn't a open invite for anyone to tag along, the ones that would be invited you already know your welcome too and no need to ask.Especially you @Tonik your not going. The reason for the non invite of a group is due to the mileage and nature of this trip. This many miles in this many days we don't need extra variables to hinder our progress. So with that being said we ( @JustinNck1 and @2talltim) do want to share this trip with you all and let you live vicariously through us as well as ask for any input of recommendations you may have to help us out. We have a plan in place it is a very complete yet flexible plan since we know shit happens and things change so as of right now this is what we have planned. 2. Sorry I offended your personally man. You're a good guy to ride with. I guess we diverge on principle issues though. As an atheist, religion just irritates the hell out of me. Even the bible has some really weird shit that encourages the disrespect of our fellow citizens in there. The koran has even weirder shit. I don't understand how people can pledge allegiance to any of that. We probably shouldn't talk about religion (or politics). Let's call a truce.

  3. So one of my kids new customers is a very famous bourbon maker in Kentucky. We spent the day with their master distillers not long ago. Needless to say we learned a lot. Yesterday we put that knowledge to the test, it is fermenting now and based on all the initial indicators this batch might be off the charts.

  7. You are fine, I think @Tonik used a Neotec? Correct me if I'm wrong. What are the Rider and Gear Requirements? • All riders must be at least 18 years of age. • All riders must wear a damage-free full-face helmet with a properly fitted face shield. DOT certification is a minimum requirement; SNELL, ECE, or other enhanced certification is recommended. Modular (flip-up) helmets are permitted in NOVICE GROUP only. • All riders must wear full-finger, full wrist coverage gauntlet style gloves. • All riders must wear sturdy over the ankle boots. Riding boots are required for INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED GROUPS. • All riders must wear one or two-piece suits with substantial reinforcement and padding in critical areas (knees, elbows, shoulders at a minimum.) • INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED GROUP riders must wear one or two piece leather suits designed for motorcycle use. Two-piece leathers must provide at least 50% attachment between jacket and pants. • NOVICE GROUP riders must wear one or two piece leather or ballistic suites. It is recommended that two-piece suits provide attachment between jacket and pants. • INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED GROUP riders MUST wear a back protector designed for motorcycle competition in lieu of, or in addition to, the standard back padding in their suit. 11. 2TT: On Day 10, unless you're specifically targeting a trip to Delta--cool little town nicknamed "City of Murals" for good reason--the SR92 loop around the north side of Black Canyon of the Gunnison is a worthwhile road with awesome views. BCG is also worthy of a stop just for a photo-op if you have the time. You can access it from the south side off US50 to stay on pavement, or off SR92 from the north side if you don't mind some smooth, graded gravel to get to the rim overlooks. Looks like a great trip!

  14. I pass on way too much overtime at my primary job to justify picking up a side gig. Just my mandatory OT is usually more than I wish to work.

  15. You feel sorry because I can't see the alleged "intelligent" design of things around me? I feel sorry for you because you worship a god that is supposed to be full of unconditional love yet wants to send the majority to eternal damnation & suffering. Don't feel sorry for me man? I do see great beauty in nature & the universe & get much joy from this beauty. I have no need to think that a man-like imaginary friend who has our best interest as his top priority is pulling the strings. I trust in nature & rely on science to describe it in a way I can understand. I realize that science will not have all the answers before man or nature erases humankind from existence but I think science is a lot more accurate than this bible people keep quoting. The bible was written by men (why not women, because they're just put here to serve man, like the animals, lol?), & certainly not this alleged god, when science was pretty much yet to be born. Furthermore, separation of church & state was one of the best ideas of this country's founders. Unfortunately, as of late, we have a lot of people that would like to change that. Hope you're not one of them.

  17. ^ This! There's no end to whiners about whatever it is you make. Can't do it themselves, but they tell you how to do. I started making furniture full time a few years ago. Started out making some stuff for a local interior design firm and was amazed at the cash I could get for simple shit. Bikes parts take forever to make and I don't get shit for them. I can do a dining table in 3 days and get $3,500 for it. So now I'm a furniture designer <gg>. Just wish bike parts apid more as I'd rather make them. Some stuff I made...
