  1. Apologize for polluting a motorcycle thread with a post of a 4 wheeled variety ? but not many threads to show off progress on a car and wasn't worth it's own thread. Got my '87 Grand National back from paint last Friday and working to put the rest of the refurbished/new interior parts back in it. It's starting to look like a classic again.

  3. I want a good platform to make an OW01 clone.in the day, Yamaha FZR’s were my favorite bike... looks and all. OW01 was unobtanium and FZR1000 is a great platform for a clone.

  10. So I went back to this Narrowsburg, NY again this year - 4 states and 1,093 miles by the time I got home. It was a great time - there were 6 of us that made the trip from Ohio. I hadn't met the ladies I rode with until we all met up in PA. We got rained on, spent a few hours in a quarter car wash hiding from the rain, explored a haunted castle, drank free beer and stunk up a hotel room the first night will all our wet gear. I learned that riding west out of Breezewood, PA is probably the windiest area, clogged with truck traffic and twisty highways that I've ever seen - it was so stressful, but I survived. And I rode thru a tunnel for the first time too. I posted a bunch of pictures on Instagram if you want to check them out. I know you're all super jelly that you don't have a vagina so you can't attend this annual camping event. LOL

  11. I never wanted to make money off my friends and fellow riders. That was never the purpose of this site. Otherwise, I'd have ads everywhere.

  14. I'm with you, I had a '86 convertible Vette for years, put in storage during the winter for 15 years. I only drove it with the top down, that meant the weather was nice, with the limited time I had when the kids were growing up, since the weather was nice I always opted for the motorcycle. One year I took it out of storage in the spring and put it back on the fall and never drove it once! Cars have become transportation to me. Bikes are exhilarating, fun and a blast to ride anytime I am on them. I have driven 911's etc. just don't do it for me like bikes. If you are looking at cars from a financial point of view for "transportation", a domestic (GM, Ford or Chrysler) depreciate more that the Asian vehicles (Sorry, Tim, don't mean to be racist) in the first couple of years. Find a low mileage domestic couple year old vehicle ($10K) and buy a $3000 bike, at that price point there are are great bikes out there. JMHO? Good Luck!
