  1. Guy had integrated tails and fender delete installed, a full GTYR exhaust and jet (thing sounds angry), and he threw in a top case, tank bag and a seat pad. After tax ended up paying ~3750. I'm pretty happy about it!
  2. 2005 FZ1, 19000 miles on it. Pulls like crazy... I'm already loving it.
  3. Sales, man. It's a sales environment in an increasingly competitive, regulated and stressful industry. Most of these guys, with the exception of the CEO, are going to be in sales-oriented positions. I can tell you that, as a denizen of the big-bank lending industry, there are a LOT of changes going on right now... a whoolle lot. It wouldn't be that big a surprise to hear that a market contraction, paired with increased pressure from the top down, would lead a lot of these guys to off themselves.
  4. Yeah, but when I was 19 years old that ish was hot as hell. I had a '95 Bonneville... in a vacuum a mediocre car, but it had the best overstuffed cloth bucket seats in the world, and I liked the fact that there were diagnostics displays and readouts and guages in orange. Looked so cooooooooool..!
  5. Ended up doing: 6x10 tricep press @ 100lbs, made it seven reps into a seventh set when my form started to suffer so I cut it short. 6x10 lat pulldowns @ 130, 2x10 @ 160 3x12 @ 115 military/vertical press 2 miles on a stationary bike afterwards, high resistance. Apparently my gym doesn't have a cable row machine?? Crazy.
  6. Would have loved to see what Pontiac would have done with one of those newer frames... Commodore chassis from Holden? Something besides FWD?
  7. Thanks guys! I think I'm just gonna take zx3's advice and get a box truck. Easier that way... Shoot, depending on the temp, I may just ride home tomorrow....
  8. Day before yesterday was chest-biceps... 3x12 pec. fly @ 130 3x10 pec fly @ 160 3x10 bench @ 130 2x7 bench @ 150 -- was trending towards failure at this point so I cut the sets short. 3x8 curls @ 75lbs.... stupid girly-arms.... Tonight will be back-tris... probably 6x15 @ 130 row 6x12 @ 130 lat pulldowns 6x10 @ 110 tricep pulldowns And 3 miles on the bike... at least. And tomorrow is Leg Day! Wherein I forget that it's leg day and do more bike after legs, and am crippled until sometime late Sunday afternoon. Need to cut like a hundred pounds so... yeah... going to be doing this for a while. Food today is a spinach salad with 4 oz of chicken breast, crumbled bacon, cukes, red onion and O+V for lunch, will probably have a can of soup for dinner after the workout. Total caloric intake of ~1000-1200 cals on the day (haven't managed to get the calorie count from my local spot for the dressing on the salad).
  9. That's probably a better idea, but I feel kind of silly going for a 14' box truck to move a 4' motorcycle... haha.
  10. Looking to go pick up my next ride this weekend, and need some way to transport. I'm going to rent a pickup truck from UHaul, but I have no way to get the bike into the back. Can anyone supply a ramp on Saturday morning/afternoon? I'd offer a sixer of your choosing as recompense.
  11. I have a pair of the Latigo Air boots. They're decent, but I'll be honest; the sole is pretty flat and hard. Doesn't seem like it'd be comfortable after a while.
  12. If you share a Twix bar with your friends, do you both have half a twix, one twix, or a twick each?
  13. Easier to make square frames.
  14. Sad that kids can be so evil to each other. Different for guys, of course.
  15. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/4300922178.html This guy has dropped the price by $200 a few times now. It was $4k a few weeks ago. Might be worth a phonecall.
  16. Is there a way I can donate a-la-carte, without buying a shirt? Don't want them to waste a shirt I won't wear when i can just put cash in hand. Let me know.
  17. He's not lying about this center-stand, though. You have to put a lot of heft into it -- I'm well over 300 lbs and I've stood directly on the thing, with one foot, and it still took a pretty solid jerk backwards to get it up onto the stand. It can be done, but I'd shudder to think about what it'd take to do it without 3 decades of poor nutrition.
  18. My dad had a CB750A a lot like the maroon one, though I don't know what color. He always geeks out a bit when he sees one.
  19. Wow -- that was yours? Insanely clean and a great-looking ride. Pretty nice-looking bikes, if I say so myself. They've still got an insane amount of presence on the floor, and you can instantly tell what it's trying to be. I'm not well-informed enough about Indians to say if they're as good as the real thing, though.
