Woops! Sorry about PM box -- cleared out.
-
I'll see about getting some on Sunday when I'm up in Willoughby again. Any specific areas you'd want to see?
-
Gimme a time, and I'll be waiting with title, haha...

It's got the added benefit that any GSX-R oil-cooled engine will drop in, anything from the Bandit 600 all the way up to the GSX-R1100 and the Bandit 1200 engine.

Said no one, ever.

I'd have to find a trailer and a vehicle to tow it. I'd have to figure something out.

The bike is being stored in my dad's garage in Willoughby. I can arrange to meet you and title transfer.
-
Yeah... To be honest I wasn't sure that I'd be selling it, but I'm in the mood for something better suited for distance riding. The Kat has been good to me, and always waited until I was standing beside it before falling over.

Hey, all, My dad has decided he's sick of me riding beaters, so I've decided to get rid of my Katana. It's a 2000 Katana 750, about 31k on the clock. This bike will need some work before it's rideable. The bike is fitted with a full Yoshimura exhaust (headers back), is jetted and tuned, and has an aftermarket rear seat cowl and taillight. Everything else to the best of my knowledge is stock. Recent maintenance (as of April, by Dave Brodowski in Eastlake) included a new front sprocket, a chain adjustment, new Dunlop RoadSmart up front, brake pads and fluids. Pauly had it last fall and might remember if there was anything going on; feel free to chime in honestly if you can remember the general state of the top end, sir. The primary issues are as follows: Lost power on the last ride of the season while passing a truck -- I believe the throttle cable snapped. The bike stayed running and idled smoothly, but had 0 throttle response. Headlight/left front turn signal does not work... either a loose connection or a frayed wire behind the left fairing. All other electrics work, and the bike holds a charge but has been sitting for 2 months now. The bike has been down several times on both sides, so cosmetically it's a shit-show. The exhaust can is (fortunately) unmarred. Tank is clean on the inside but has a gnarly dent in the left corner by the rider's knee, right where the fairing ends. The most recent drop (kickstand collapsed due to a hard wind gust that rocked the bike forward while parked) claimed the clutch lever (bent outwards) and the left peg . Shifter is bent but the bike still shifts through gears. There's also an extra set of carbs that goes with this bike -- they came in a box with extra parts that I received when I purchased this Kat -- I'm assuming that they're stock 750s but I couldn't tell you. More photos on request. I'd like to get $500 for it.

Damn, got cut off -- Starting over: 2.5 lbs beef/venison/turkey/wtfever, this recipe works with all meat. 1 lb pork sausage 1 beer (dark preferable) 1 large can Bush's Baked Beans 1 can diced tomatoes or 2 large tomatoes, diced about 1/4" To taste: Brown sugar chili powder cinnamon garlic salt onion powder ground peppercorn And:http://peppers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/dr103.jpg "The Hottest F*ckin' Seasoning." Essentially, raw oleoresin capsaicin, to adjust the heat of the chili without changing the flavor. mix the meats and spices (not the brown sugar) together in a bigass saucepan. When it's about medium-well, drain it. Keep in mind that you want to leave at least some fat in the mix for flavor. The leaner the meat, the less you should drain. Add in the brown sugar (don't use a ton of this, maybe 3 tablespoons max), the tomatoes, and about half a bottle of the beer. this will the be base of the broth and will have a nice caramelized flavor, but will also pick up a lot of the spicy oils from the cooked meat. When the base of the sauce turns red, indicating the tomatoes have started stewing, add the beans and the rest of the beer. This will get pretty soupy, so cook it down under medium low heat for about an hour, until it gets thick, at which point you should turn the heat off, but keep it on the burner so your chili stays warm. The soup is so thick that it won't scald. This will make lunch and dinner for four people, and can be adjusted for individual tastes. It's sweeter than some, but it ends up being more of a barbecue, glazed flavor, and the meat gets emphasized rather than the beans and sauce.

My recipe is pretty easy. It's sweeter than normal chili but still as fiery as you want it to be. 2.5 lbs venison. .5 lbs pork sausage (adds a bit of necessary oils, since venison is so lean) 1 dark, flavorful beer (Smithwick's, Stone Smoked Porter, Edmund Fitz) 1 large can Bush's Baked Beans -- really, anything they make is good for this chili. Brown sugar Chili Powder Cinnamon

I want to say it's ugly, but I ride a Katana.

Hi, all. I've been looking for an upgrade to my Katana 750, and I found a nice-looking Triumph Daytona 955i on Craigslist. Seller is saying that he had the bike resprayed, and since reassembly, it hasn't been able to go WOT without shutting down. Is this likely a crimp in the fuel line, or...? Any thoughts? I might go look at this bike, and I want to make sure it wouldn't be something that would require thousands in repairs. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/4176186614.html

Yeah, girl-slaps don't hurt... until you take a fingernail to the cornea and now you need surgery because you were too hung up on fake chivalry to defend yourself. Doesn't matter -- assault is assault, man. I can't fault anyone for defending themselves.

Can't watch the video at work, but I'm going to hazard a guess that this is one of those videos where women are acting super aggressive and swinging on a man, and then one takes a shot to the jaw and everyone acts all stunned that she caught an earned one. How close did I get?

Also turns out that most of them were riding non-street-legal vehicles, quads, dirtbikes, etc. The guy who was run over and put into a medically-induced coma wasn't even licensed. He lived in Massachusetts (a Masshole -- big surprise, right?) and had never applied for a driver's license, had two temporary motorcycle permits, and had somehow managed to rack up 16 speeding tickets and citations. Mass had actually banned him from operating a motor vehicle in the state until 2017.

so far away.

Tried to PM you but your inbox is full. My brother would like to take a look at this today/soon if he can. Could you PM me a phone number? Would like to set up a time to take a look. Thanks.

That's an 87/88 Super Magna, lol. No one looks that cool.

I will run this by my brother. He's looking for a first bike right now and this is in his price range. How are the brakes/lines/tires etc?
