  1. not that anyone has to race motoseries or whatnot (as wera, ccs, etc are all excellent and well established racing orgs), but i dont think motoseries has a class setup for 750... or does it? or would it just race in the 1000cc class?
  2. you can pay back with being on the receiving end of water sports
  3. i'm going to stockpile some of this guy in case you arm yourself with your particular brand of brilliance (in this thread, anyway) i just gotta be better armed brah
  4. This thread is to document and serve as a guide (or warning, depending on how this all turns out lol) to those who want to form an endurance team like the one we're thinking of fielding for the motoseries 3 hour endurance series. In this thread, we will discuss how to arrange for expense distribution, seat time, handling crashes and related repairs and expenses (and subsequent beat down penalties for crashing) and all the fun/ugly aspects of team endurance racing. If we get lucky, we'll also post up a template to use for a team agreement (ie, a contract involving multiple parties). To start, I will be volunteering my precious but really BTS honda cbr 600rr as a bike. As more details emerge, it will be posted after making the rambling conversations and thoughts a bit more concise. Unlike this first post.
  5. i appreciate the advice. we will probably go with a "pay to ride per weekend" type setup. anyone else have idears, toss them out there. i'll create a thread in this section so we're not crapping this one up any more. if a mod wants to move the posts over to there, feel free.
  6. sounds like a good idear. this brings up a good point, though it should be fairly obvious: the riders should of like mind, in terms of maintenance, repairs (or quality of) and even weight if possible.
  7. wanna write up a quick agreement for OR to use as a template? i like to think i hang with douchers who i can trust enough to not need paperwork, but it always makes it easier to keep business as business and it can help other people form similar arrangements that might not be as "close" or "inside"
  8. how many do we want on the team? we can either do 3 riders (if each rider thinks they can handle 1 hr each... i know i couldn't handle it at my current fitness level) or more if we want to distribute the riding time more liberally.
  9. ok, but we can't keep it at my house. i promised to sell it shortly after i bought the zx6r lol.
  10. we can put my cbr back together and enduro that, i guess. i really just need to bolt the fairing stay back on and get a new lever and rear set and it should be ready to go. who wants some?
  11. None of this would have happened if I was there... I'm truly sorry guys, I'll make sure I make the next race so disaster doesn't strike again
  12. Sportbiketrackgear or ridersdiscount wouldve taken care of you

Love mine. I had a 40sw which I shouldn't have sold, then picked one up a member on here in 9mm. Very accurate, very reliable, holds value.
  15. My thread went way better than this, you should probably cheggit. Actually, come to think of it, everything I post on this forum is high quality and totally seriosly awesome
  16. lol no, but i was thinking of him as i read the blog. in my first couple of years at the track, i bought 2 cd's or so every year. last year, i dont think i bought anything, though i keep forgetting to buy a couple pics from marty of me on the motard. i'll probably buy a cd this year at some point to see if my body position has improved yet. i will go up to whoever is taking photos (probably marty) to make sure he gets lots of me before the day starts so i get my money's worth. btw, i stole this from the wera forum. there are lots of good comments on there from other track/race day photogs. some of it was advice for other aspiring photogs to vary up angles, get shots from behind, get group shots, etc etc etc. here is the link to the thread guys who are new to track riding/racing, definitely buy some photos, and make sure they know you're going to buy a cd before the day goes too long. they'll look out for you on track. once you get the photos, you'll really get a good look at your body positioning. if you ever had coaches/control riders tell you to "get off the bike more" and you're thinking "WTF, I'm hanging off the bike like a raped ape with a recently impacted anus", you'll probably see in your photos that you're not as far off the bike as you think you are (ie, as much as you should be). anyway, i thought it was an amusing and insightful read.
  17. cheggit out: wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh jk, the numbers presented are pretty compelling. be good to your track day photog.
  18. ya but only with pop rocks. that doesn't count, right?
  19. sweet, if you get to ride, even bettar! wait, so what you're saying is, you'll stick tubes into my dick hole and then forcibly induce harmful irritants into said dick hole? it sounds pretty erotic, i'm in.
  20. umm... in 5... 4..... 3..... 2..... 1....
  21. congrats todd! i plan on going there at least once more this year, so i'll come say hi. i hope we won't have to hang out ON the track though lol
  22. wait, that IS what he is talking about, right?
