2008 CBR1000RR with the baby on the back. He really didn't piss me off it was fun having someone to ride with down there even if it was only one pass from the lookout to the store. In the pictures he is just sitting up riding like it's no big deal while I'm leaned over trying to get the baby to touch the road. I might have been holding him up but the 1K was able to beat him to the next curve so he didn't get many chances to pass and I'm not nice enough to let him by.

Glad to hear Seth is home. How did he get transported back to Ohio? I was there that weekend but the road block and rain kept us separated most of the time. I never shifted out of first gear the whole time north of the store and back you must be flying going all the way to second gear. The guy riding the KTM690 pissed me off. (Not really.) He followed me from the overlook to the store right on my ass, what pissed me off was when we got home and I saw the pictures on Killboy it looked like he could have been drinking a cup of coffee behind me, like it was a walk in the park. I need me a supermoto or to learn how to ride faster. The tree of shame has zip ties on it from the baby's pack. The baby seems to leave zip ties all over the country.

I was kind of hoping you were brilliant and being funny with that comment asking him where he was from. That would have been very funny if you were doing it on purpose. There is nothing wrong with not knowing something if you have never been exposed to it before. You will need a little more time to get the whole picture I'm afraid. You don't appear to be afraid of being wrong and seem to have thick skin; you'll do alright if your skin stays thick while you make some more rookie mistakes. This is why you might have needed a little more time here before engaging folks. Chicken strips are meaningless when being used to judge riding ability. I have some fairly large strips on my bike where I used to use the whole tire. I ride faster now than I did then but have since learned how to ride better. I have the extra tire there if needed to get out of a bad situation but find it unnecessary to use at a controlled street riding pace.

Yes, I was offered a transponder to mount on my bike for lap times. I was there as a certified rider not there to race. It was a combination race practice and there were some folks there who were just speed certified. This was after the one year I tried to race so my bike was race prepped and had numbers on it. Not really a track day setting since it was a race weekend and the vast majority of people there were there for the race weekend. I know where you are going with this and I'm guessing I was just being confused with someone who was there to race since my pit area was set up like most club racers.

While we are admitting to getting spanked, I was last night by a 1200, it was fun to watch him pull me too. Earlier in the night I was beating him from stoplight to stoplight with a scooter, big fun. Who cares if you can corner or not if you are an asshole that's what you are fast or slow.

I carry a siphoning hose instead of an extra bottle of fuel. The CBR1100XX will go over 200 miles on a tank so you guys have Fonzie carrying all the extra fuel.

RichieRich was there too. Avenger pulled a 173 on the dyno I think. After the night was over we tried to see if that was true and I can confirm it will go around a CBR1000RR in fact it can go around two of them.
