  1. True & not true. Assets need to be liquid NOT associated to primary residence.
  2. I'm bored so I'll play along. What an excellent painting, the artist has a talent that I will never posses. I really appreciate being exposed to talent that is undeniable when witnessed. The artist is full of shit with his political view concerning the content. James Madison "Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise." "Ecclesiastical establishments tend to great ignorance and corruption, all of which facilitate the execution of mischievous projects." "The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." John Adams "I almost shudder at the thought of alluding to the most fatal example of the abuses of grief which the history of mankind has preserved-- the Cross. Consider what calamities that engine of grief has produced!" "The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity. Nowhere in the Gospels do we find a precept for Creeds, Confessions, Oaths, Doctrines, and whole cartloads of other foolish trumpery that we find in Christianity." "The question before the human race is, whether the God of Nature shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings shall rule it by fictitious miracles?" "This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it." Thomas Jefferson "Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, imprisoned; yet we have not advanced an inch towards uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites. To support roguery and error all over the earth." "Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear.” "History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their political as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose." "On the dogmas of religion, as distinguished from moral principles, all mankind, from the beginning of the world to this day, have been quarreling, fighting, burning and torturing one another, for abstractions unintelligible to themselves and to all others, and absolutely beyond the comprehension of the human mind." "It is not to be understood that I am with him (Jesus Christ) in all his doctrines. I am a Materialist; he takes the side of Spiritualism, he preaches the efficacy of repentance toward forgiveness of sin; I require a counterpoise of good works to redeem it." "I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature." "We discover in the gospels groundwork of vulgar ignorance, of things impossible, of superstition, fanaticism and fabrication.” "No man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever." "The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the Common Law.” Benjamin Franklin ". . . Some books against Deism fell into my hands. . . It happened that they wrought an effect on my quite contrary to what was intended by them; for the arguments of the Deists, which were quoted to be refuted, appeared to me much stronger than the refutations; in short, I soon became a thorough Deist." "I wish it (Christianity) were more productive of good works ... I mean real good works ... not holy-day keeping, sermon-hearing ... or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments despised by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity." "Lighthouses are more helpful than churches." "The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason." Thomas Paine "The New Testament, they tell us, is founded upon the prophecies of the Old; if so, it must follow the fate of its foundation.'' "I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish Church, by the Roman Church, by the Greek Church, by the Turkish Church, by the Protestant Church, nor by any Church that I know of. My own mind is my own Church. Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part, I disbelieve them all." "All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit." "The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion." I would submit that any of these founding fathers would be offended by their inclusion with the artist’s message. Religious principles are in the bases of our government because they are good ideas for a civilized nation not because we are founded by religion. Religion has sound principles for keeping a society orderly but religion didn’t invent these principles nor do they own the rights to them.

  4. I love active mods, instant gratification.
  5. Why is a mod picking on me? Shouldn't he be out warning people not to break the rules? I still haven't heard why the Drama Queen room even exists if the rules are to be followed here also. Is calling a liberal a brainless socialist bashing or just good clean fun? If I call a woman or black person the same thing do I get banned? Who holds the line we can't cross for banning infractions?
  6. No you don't get it you dumb fucker; I'm calling you a loser. Some flame war this is turning out to be. (The one post editing trick is genius.) I need to leave myself open to being flamed by going over 1000 posts or it’s just no fun around here.
  7. I don't like the new post count rule that posts count in the Drama Queens section. I'm trying to keep my posts under 1000 a year and need to go until the end of January. Anyone who posts more than 1000 times a year is a loser.

  9. http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2009/12/25/invacare-chief-says-health-care-bill-will-force-company-to-move-jobs-to-china/ From the report above “And forty-five thousand Americans die each year because they are uninsured and can’t get the care they need,” Brown said. If this is a leader of the democrats, making statements like this, how can they be taken seriously?
  10. I did some learnin, sorry for neglecting your taint.
  11. I'll beat all you fucking kids with my cane. Keep off my grass.
  12. That sounds like a good story, do tell. I miss all the drama.
  13. Can you look inside the chin guard? There you will find the month and year it was made. This size helmet doesn't sell very well and sometimes sit until the right buyer comes along. I am only asking because it could be over five years old even though you just bought it.
  14. Todd you have a different angle on things and I truly felt bad for you. If you notice in my reply I said "Something said to someone else." Your situation was personal and I understand you wanting to have a talk about it. I think it shows a lack of forethought to threaten people about things said over the internet, not a measure of a man. The ability to intimidate someone is not the measure of a man. If the person you are threatening retaliates with a greater force are they now right in their stupidity over what they have said over the internet?
  15. Ha, ha, ha I love watching mods flex their muscles preemptively for no good reason. It's predictable and entertaining.
  16. Taken from Justins post above. "Taxes on fancy health plans (40% excise tax); fees on medical-device makers ($2 billion/year starting 2011, then $3 billion/year in 2018); higher Medicare payroll tax for high-income folks; Medicare and Medicaid cuts; fines. Strangest of all—10% tax on indoor tanning." So people who have good health plans are penalized. Who decides what a fancy health plan is. I thought we were paying too much for healthcare and the government was here to help. How are they helping by INCREASING the costs by taxing them?
  17. ^This is what will happen when the government gets involved with our healthcare. We are paying for your healthcare so we get to decide your lifestyle, you can no longer participate in the activities above.
  18. Not cool! I seriously hope you aren't threatening someone about something said over the internet to someone else. Someone needs to check their priorities. The internet is not serious business.
  19. I hope I'm wrong about this but I don't think this can be challenged until someone has cause. The penalty phase of this scheme doesn't take effect for a few more years so I can't see how anyone will have standing until then. If someone can find a way to get this to the current court I'm sure it would be defeated. If a case has to wait until after Obama gets to appoint new judges the outcome will most likely not be good for the American people. I really hope this clown doesn't get re-elected and get the opportunity to get the court stacked against us.
  20. ^ That list is very incomplete. I will say that at what the federal government is for, National Defense and infrastructure we are second to none. Just think how much better we could do in those areas if we weren’t so distracted with these other worthless ventures.
  21. Of course I'm talking about the cry baby bleeding heart liberals; they have no brains so reasoning with them is futile. The conservatives are my peoples and can be reasoned with by tricking them into believing you are speaking with authority. Like Cartman.
  22. If the Drama Queen section is subject to the same modding rules as the rest of the site why does it even exist? It doesn't appear on the home page but language isn't regulated in other posts that are seen there. When is the party planned so that $23 can be put to good use?
  23. I view the Drama Queen room the same as NWS. If you want to participate in such things you have to go looking for it. My hope would be that the Drama Queen room could open up more if it is shielded from the sensitive types.
