  1. Time will tell too many variables to discuss at this time. I support our president's decision but need to see an end game more clearly. I know that statement will bring about debate however we have an asset problem that needs priorities.
  2. You can make bike nights entertaining. I have gone up to QSL in full track riding gear on a Ninja 250 begging all the fast guys to "race me bitch" and revving the motor at all the clones. I plan to do the same this year on the scooter.
  3. I have very mixed feelings about this. Boots on the ground will be a game changer if it ever comes to that.
  4. I don't know guys but I have heard that bike nights are awesome. I think we should really make an effort to make this happen.
  5. I love it when a pirate thinks he's to cool to wave back at a scooter. I will then intensify my wave to a frantic rapid gay wave almost like I'm flirting with him to please accept me. I even embarrass my girlfriend and she has been with me a long time so that's hard to do. The reactions are priceless. God I love scooters, too much fun. You can't handle the power. After messing around with all those twins an inline 1K will rock your world. Still won't get you as much trim as a scooter. (Spell checker wanted to correct trim to trimmer.)
  6. Jbot better not show up on any rides with his new one because I'm taking it from him and if I like it I might consider letting him ride the Honda while I'm abusing his little orange mistress. (Did I mention I’m jealous?)
  7. I have never had a motard so I don't know the difference but I lust after them. You are right about the mad tail a scooter attracts though. I have a hard time getting out to ride a scooter by myself, the bike not so much.
  8. I know of too many horror stories about the system to have much faith in it. Guy at work had three kids in the system, as they hit their required criteria to end support he quit sending in money for them. When the last one hit his 18th birthday he quit sending money all together. Sometime later he was notified that he was a deadbeat dad and 40K in the rears on his support. The stupid system had them as a ward of the court and didn't know their birthdays. I understand the system has changed since then and now you need to go to court to end your support even after it is in a court order on how it is to be executed, a totally stupid unnecessary redundancy. It's a really fucked up system that should only be there as a punitive authority if matters aren't being handled properly by court order not a big bureaucratic cumbersome administrative waste of resources.
  9. All the stops may make a trip to the river and back an overnighter. Who am I sleeping with?
  10. Thanks Jagr, pleasure doing business with you. Glocks rule!
  11. WTF are all of these other responses, this is a scooter thread. I won't need to carry extra fuel with the 250 but Jbot might. Not really we can stop every 60 to 70 miles for ice-cream after all it's a scooter ride.
  12. I will bet they were leaving the Trading Post, a lot of bad accidents happen leaving there. I used to work with a guy who died leaving there a few years ago. Alcohol is usually involved. It’s outside of any city limits with an undermanned Sheriff’s department. A whole lot of stupid takes place there for sure, they love it when I go by on the scooter and blow the air horn, it makes them all laugh like little school girls.

    This Saturday

That's why I drove down instead of riding, I didn't want my helmet to mess up my Asian afro, I hate it when that happens. Glad to hear everyone made it back home safely, catch you guys next time. 60 is open despite what the signs say. (Until the next rain.) 83 is closed from just below Wooster to 250.
  14. You can ride in the back because we are really going to be rolling. (Just kidding.) After riding my brothers 150 most of last summer I decided on a 250 plus he is moving to S.C. and taking it so I needed my own. I could only pass the pirates at Deal's Gap going downhill on the 150 the awesome power of the 250 should change that. Looks like a lot more gas stops going to the river because the 150 was out of gas at 90 miles, I like to leave a little more reserve than pushing it close to empty. Scooters are a blast.
  15. If you can commute with it you may regret getting rid of it if gas finds its way to $5.00 a gallon. Plus they make you sexy, scooters rule.
  16. How do you like it? I have heard a lot of good reviews on them. If you are selling this is starting to look like a good year to do it. I'm getting a Kymco People S 250 in May. 16" wheels and braided brake lines from the factory.
  17. What size scooter do you have? I should pick my sexy all black 250 up in May. So far two 250s and a 500. I bet it will be as much fun as riding the bikes. A whole gang of wild hogs on scooters!
  18. I think he quit riding also, at least I don't remember him on any group rides last year. I did see him at the bike shop buying tires so he must be riding unless it's just to QSL.
  19. Bike - all gear Scooter - sunglasses Some time this summer there will be a scooter ride to the river. I already have two others interested.
  20. I am able to pull off asshole without any formal education.
