    Oh I would also say water resistant not proof? Hit them with a good spray of nik wix or kiwi water proofing spray and they will block out water for a lot longer. Mine with a few coats of spray held out all water on the freeway for 500 miles.

    Nice pick up. I have a similar pair of first gear pants. I use mine for spring, late fall rides. and for snow blowing the drive way they are that warm with the liner in them.

    Nice I have around 40k on my 2000. Same thing speedo cables. Master cylinder needs rebuilt, no electrical gremlins here yet. I bought mine new in 2001 as a left over.

    Very nice set up ya got there. Throw a set of hard bags on it and that would make a sweet sporty touring bike.

    I am with the zrx guess also. they started as a 1100 and then moved to the zrx 1200 before they stopped making them. Bottom end is huge on those motors peak hp is somewhere just over 105 if I recall?

    weak jap stuff I guess my brit bike has over 40k on the odo with the one it came with? And his shop is top notch have been there a few times when a bike I was riding with went down.

    Wow sorry to hear the bad news Kent glad your ok and the bike is not to bad. 555 is a dirty road I try to stay away from it. Every ride I have been on that road someone went down, figure it is just time before it is me...
