  1. Would love to be able to buy an American made sport bike that can compete with the international fare. Really liked what Buell was doing before H-D got their panties in a bunch...
  2. Making the 40 minute ride home today... gonna be a cold and windy one
  3. That's what I did. Rode down today, planning to ride back at peak temp Friday, even though it's gonna be cold. Brought stuff to bundle up in for about an hour trip.
  4. Lol, yeah. Except I'm usually screaming for the thrill of it all.
  5. I put about 60 miles on it over the past two days already.
  6. For those with a Weber charcoal grill, this little guy is a GREAT addition to convert the grill into a smoker. Made some excellent brisket and baby backs with this thing: http://www.smokenator.com/
  7. Same, that and I don't feel comfortable leaving my bike sitting outside the old St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton...
  8. So got off work early and went to the BMV in Centerville only to find their fucking title office closes at 1:30 on Mondays. WTF!? So they tell me to go downtown, so of course I-75 is a fucking disaster as it has been for the past 2 decades, finally get through the title line and they tell me I can't get a title transfer without having the bike inspected since it's an out of state sale. So I gotta go pay $18 to the BMV for temp tags just so I can ride my bike back to the BMV to get real tags? WTF? Well after a waste of an hour and a half trying to get stuff done at the BMV, I finally came away with temp tags around 4pm, raced home, zip tied that fucker on (cause i didn't have time to find screws) and took off for an hour and a half. Verdict? LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS THING! Just what I hoped it would be: comfortable, powerful, maneuverable, quick, fun, etc. It roars, it growls, it pops, it shudders, it backfires, it vibrates. It feels like a machine. It seems like it's always ready to take off regardless of where in the RPM range it's sitting. On cool nights like tonight, it's actually kinda nice to have that "heater" of an engine warm my legs up at stop lights. Got home and no part of me hurt, which seemed weird. I think I'm gonna keep this one.
  9. I would use a sheet, but i would like to put it on right after a ride just got convenience sake
  10. That 1078cc L-twin is basically a giant vibrating cock ring eh?
  11. No, but she's already requested having sex on the bike
  12. Maybe i wasn't clear, my garage is old and the wood inside is from the 1950s and the amount of dust and dirt that accumulates on the bike in a few weeks exceeds the amount i put on the bike riding over the course of a year. It's absurd.
  13. That's commitment to debug and clean after every ride.
  14. Only need it to be a dust cover in the garage, but would like it to be heat resistant so I can put it on immediately after getting back. My bike looks like it's coated in sawdust after 2-3 weeks sitting in there and want that shit to stop.
  15. Yeah it's pretty unique if you've been in the area.
  16. One piece at a time man! Looking forward to some termis in a few years. The stock exhaust sounds great though!
  17. When she let's me get a new Ducati! Though, I have a feeling she'll get her revenge when it comes time to replace her car in about 2 years... Here's a few quick pics as promised! There's a few odd pieces of protective plastic film on the tank where your legs rub that aren't terribly well applied (bubbles) that I need to remove along with all the stupid "California has ridiculous emissions and noise laws" stickers on the frame. Debating keeping the tank guard or replacing it to show off the stripe more. This is what it's like wanting so badly to ride around today but not having plates or registration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plz-bhcHryc
