21,500 - About 7k of which are mine since I bought it in 2009. Would like to have more seat time but life interferes. I could have picked a better bike to re-learn riding on, but I love this VFR now after two years with it. Added Pilot Road 2's and a Sargent seat this year and that made a BIG difference.

Anyone have any experience with small compressors for emergency tire repairs? Need something I can fit in the tail bag. The slime unit gets patchy reviews. Harbor Freight has one but I'd have to figure out how to get rid of the lighter plug power and install an SAE plug. Thoughts?

I musta been asleep if someone mentioned it, but I discovered Saturday SR 26 is closed about 14 miles E of Marietta. I ended up backtracking and taking Archers Fork Rd, a township road and not bad at that, down to 7 and then back up 260.

That's rough, man. They are most definitely family members. I've lost four dogs through the years and there's no real easy way for it to happen - quick, slow, old, young - makes no difference. My best dog lived to a ripe old age and I will confess plainly that I cried like a kid when we lost her.

Just for fun, the VFRD site also has a 3rd Gen VFR750 for $2k (Dallas Fort-Worth though). Know you don't want to travel, but those 3rd Gen VFRs are the shit. Great looks and the SSSA with the 8-spoke rear wheel is cool.

This one is an unfared version. Looks clean. I don't know the SVs but the seating position looks similar to, if not more comfortable than, the VFR. If I was looking for a bike locally, I'd probably pick this one. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/2391300490.html

I rode a loop in the area Sunday. 62-541-83-62-520-514-62. Not so bad once I got past the horse manure on 541. I didn't see any silt and only a little gravel in the usual spots (driveways and intersections.) Overall beautiful day. Cool, sunny and green. Mother nature was showin' off.
