  1. Getting an O2 sniffer in my exhaust? Will he at least buy me dinner afterwards? This makes sense, it's checking the stoich level coming out of the exhaust so I'll know where my A/F is at.
  2. Made it home last night, you free this weekend? What's the Kat's status?

  3. Now that I have FI, this piques my interest. Brian, since I am a complete noob to the tuning scene, can you explain what's going on here? I know for 20 bucks I'm not going to get a complete tune, but I'm not totally understanding the concept of a pull.
  4. Wherever you end up buying the packing at, buy extra and give that shit to EvilTwin. I thought I was going to blow my eardrums out riding behind him in Coshocton
  5. I've heard a product called water wetter works great for coolant. Not sure of the mix, but definitely look into it.

  11. i lol'd. congrats socal. There might be a way to adjust the shift lever, either moving it up or down a few spines to shift it's position might make it easier to engage.

  15. Sounds like a good route. I can't believe you guys almost made it to PA.
  16. "You think you're pretty smart, don't you dmaigicglock! What with your dago mustache and your greasy hair!" In NYC the cops and transit authority FREAK out when the threat level gets raised. This freakout leads to increased searches without probable cause (4th amendment violation), if you happen to refuse the illegal searches you are detained (6th amendment violation). Off-border "random" searches are increased, violating the above amendments. I'll ask it again, where in the Constitution does it allow for the waiver of the above amendments just because the Government decides to change a color based on evidence that is not available to the public? I will agree that Tom Ridge has a vested interest in selling his book. I will also agree that the timing is a little suspect. Correlation does not imply causation. Don't argue the timing of the statement, argue the statement itself. More non-sequiters. I agree with Jefferson. I still think you missed the point of Franklin. Obama didn't create these policies, Bush did. I fault Obama for not getting rid of them, but that is as far as his blame goes. Obama had NOTHING to do with the original statement and premise of this discussion. ZERO. I think what we have here is a simple issue of perspective. I have no idea on what your background is, as I haven't had the opportunity to meet you yet (when the hell are you coming to the M&G anyway) and buy you that beer I owe you and Isaac's Papa. That being said, I believe that you are viewing this strictly from the lens of your own experiences in small-town Ohio. Nothing at all wrong with that. My experiences are from someone who's traveled quite often to NYC and around the country. I have a cousin who's in the NYPD, and loads of family that still lives in Staten Island and Manhattan. I've also traveled to Arizona and Mexico a ton for work, and must have crossed the US/Mexico border by foot and car about 50-60 times already. I've been searched illegally by a overzealous Port Authority cop, and have been stopped illegally by Border Patrol 15 miles from the Mexico border, well within American soil. These things happen, and they get MUCH worse with the raising of the terror level.
  17. This is not my beautiful house! /edit: just read it, sticking with the talking heads.
  18. Magley and I will hook up some speakers to it, you'll have Rock Me Amadeus and Der Kommisar playing on a continuous loop. Hope everything works out for you Lance.
  19. Hey, that's my kin you's talkin about there. Don't make me break out the Yankees whoopin' stick.
  20. Yes, because most of his projects were probably bullshit designed to continue these types of failed policies. OK. In order to prevent guilt by association, I'll ask you this: Do you believe that the increased governmental reach on the citizenry's day-to-day lives authorized by the changing of the threat level for "secret" reasons is a violation of their civil liberties? Yes or no answer please. Come on, really? Who's vested interest? The only way to counter an argument as ridiculous as this is to offer something in return. To use a phrase from the conservative media, where in the Constitution does is say freedom of assembly or movement can be diminished or outright waived due to the government's changing of a color? Since I know you have a copy handy, I shouldn't have to wait very long. Obama didn't create the threat level, Bush did. Name how many times Obama has changed the threat level. One was "for our safety" and the later is for "redistribution of wealth" but I think Ben Franklin put it best when he said "Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither." And the real argument emerges. I'll take Non Sequitur for 500, Trebek. Thanks for the Franklin quote as well, but do you seriously believe it?
  21. I think it's time to find some bacon popcorn.
