  1. Umm...you can't turn off the key with your left hand?!?!! Not that it would matter which hand you use. I park my bike in neutral so it's ready to start.
  2. If that is true then the MSF is quite confused
  3. Isn't a kill switch just a leftover relic from the 70's when a throttle cable could get stuck open? Cars don't need a kill switch. Why do motorcycles? I see the point of a kill switch on a race bike, or a dirtbike/minibike that doesn't have a key.
  4. I don't mind paying someone to do it right. The water connections aren't a concern. It's more the fitment of the gas line, vent, and water lines. The new heater won't have the gas connection in the exact same place, for example. Someone who does this often will likely do a cleaner looking install than a DIY'er.
  5. My 2005 F4i was less comfortable than my 2010 600RR
  6. Has it run normally since the stator rewind? Who did the stator/rotor work? Was the procedure followed to retorque the rotor? Getting the rotor torqued correctly is a PITA on the Helicon. Since the wheel won't move...I'm guessing you have a loose rotor that has become seized or your starter is stuck. Can you remove the starter and then see if the wheel will move?
  7. French tires on an eye-tailian scoot?
  8. Now it's looking like I might need to replace the water heater. The timing blows since I just paid the deposit on my new patio this morning.
  9. I have a leaky hot water tank. Probably needs a pipe to be soldered. Need someone today or tomorrow.
  10. FI, good for 2up, kinda cheap https://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/5234286967.html
  11. It's the Indian not the arrow. Zing!
  12. ^^^ I recently rode with a couple guys on new BMW S1000XR's. That is a pretty impressive motorcycle for distance, corners, and some unpaved stuff, too.
  13. The VFR12 is plenty comfy and quick through the corners. Not to mention gobs of motor.
  14. That could be my old Pacific Coast. I brought it on 1 CORE ride. It actually did pretty well.
  15. I remember badly wanting a Hurricane back in the day.
  16. "Do you know why I pulled you over" is a phrase that makes me fight with every fiber of my being to not say something totally asshole-ish. Umm...because you were a "D" student and didn't have the foot speed to play junior college football.
  17. That seems like an awful lot of effort to try to get you to admit to something that the OHP would never have witnessed.
  18. School me on subarus...they are primarily used to haul lesbians.
  19. I am not following this. Why would they call you? If they were going to give you a ticket wouldn't that have happened on the side of the road? I once had an off duty cop radio ahead and I was pulled over as soon as I entered a town (Smithville) where I was riding under the speed limit. I actually got quite belligerent on the side of the road. So much that the on duty cop told me to get the hell out of his town without a citation.
  20. It seems like it's been forever since I've seen anyone. I'm still not 100% but at least I'm back riding.
