  1. Agreed. Every half-a-fag and wanna-be-front-runner can be a Yankees fan or a Cowboys fan (looking right at you LeBron). Steelers are the most stable organization in professionsal sports. They grow talent from within. They don't try to buy titles. They win with defense. They've only had 3 head coaches since 1969. Every sports fan should be able to appreciate that. Plus, the rapes were only alleged
  2. If I was a Browns fan I would hate the Ravens WAY more then the Steelers. In all honesty, Browns/Steelers hasn't been much of a rivalry in a very long time.
  3. Not sure if it's still there, but there used to be a gun range in Sharon, PA that had submachine guns for rent. They had MP5s, UZIs, and a few others. Expensive? Of course, but worth doing once.
  4. I just got a smoking deal on an XD40. I wasn't really looking for a .40 or an XD, but it was too good to pass up.

Glock 27 is a nice piece, but I am specifically interested in 9mm.

Whatcha got? No Hi Points and I don't care for Beretta. I like Sigmas despite all the whining about the hard trigger pull. Glocks, XDs, M&Ps are always good...some Rugers, etc, etc. Cash either way to even the value on a trade.
  7. I've considered this for a few years. If I do a track day... Next, I'll go out and buy a race bike, leathers, dozens of sets of tires. I know it would be a blast, but I just don't anbother expensive hobby.
  8. 21? remind me to buy you a beer.
  9. I'm designing a motor that runs on Taco Bell meat.
  10. If you like HDs, what's not to like. It looks just like the others
  11. Well, nearly every gun manufacturer now makes a pistol with a polymer frame. I'm not a big Glock fan. I owned a G22. It shot great, but didn't feel right in my hand. I may try a Gen 4 though. Like 'em or hate 'em, Glock has advanced handgun tech more than anyone else in the last 20 years.
  12. If recoil is a primary concern, has she looked at the Walther PK380? Its known for soft recoil. It about the same size as the 709 Slim, but the PK380's recoil is just a bit heavier than a .22, and way less than any of the .380 pocket guns. http://www.handgunsmag.com/featured_handguns/HG_bravenewwalther_200909/index.html
  13. I haven't fired either of those. But, I'd imagine it kicks a little more than the M&P9c, due to the lower weight. It's kicks a little more than a P3AT or LCP.
  14. The 709 is solid. I've only put 200 rnds through mine. It hasn't had a failure of any kind. It's suprisingly accurate for such a small 9mm.
  15. Did you enter into any written contract or agreement? Are you named in the LLC?
  16. I think that's from Reno 911. Check out this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o71KV80jh8
  17. Anyone? Make an offer before I take it all to the range.
  18. Don't forget the Red Menace! That's just what they want you to do
  19. In manufacturing, unions have far outlived their usefulness. We now live in a global economy. The jobs that manufacturing unions once protected, they now chase outside US borders. The UAW is by far the worst, but examples can be found everywhere in manufacturing. I have less of an issue with trade unions...plumbers, electricians, etc. The still have a place, but I personally don't use union labor when it comes to my house or my business. Isn't a union just an outgrowth of Communism anyway? Redistribution of wealth...everyone gets the same wage...reduced competition among workers...all that stuff?
  20. The EBR ECM is a really good deal. Tuning for optimum combustion is not the same as tuning to meet EPA regs. How often do you get a chance to get a optimum tune from the guy who designed the engine? Plus if you decide to change exhaust later, EBR will reflash the ECM for a different exhaust for $25.
  21. If you call EBR they'll map a Race ECM for the stock exhaust. That's what I have. It runs smoother, stronger, cooler & get better mpg. It's runs fantastic! If you're set on an after market exhaust, I would take a look at the Barker. Best bang for the buck, and there are 2 or 3 sizes of db killers. If you haven't already seen this, it's worth reading. All the 1125 exhaust are compared and dynoed: http://www.americansportbike.com/1125_Exhaust_Test_Text.ZIP
