Tempted to buy ZX6R on craigslist...need rational advise!!!

Park the car in the driveway, you can never have too many bikes. -
So basically it's a revenue increase for Independence that the taxpayers didn't get to vote on and another excuse for the police to profile bikes...bunch of fudgepackers.

You're leading next time

536 is definitely a fun ride & one of the most technical roads in or near OH. There are a couple turns that have claimed more than a few bikes. I suggest taking it easy the first time you ride it...you'll see why.

When the pavement is in decent shape 26 out of Marietta is very good, unfortunately it hasn't been is good shape in years (haven't ridden it yet this year). The part north of Woodsfield is always awful.

There are a few decreasing radius turns on 536 that are notorious for eating bikes. I've seen several bikes down and some unintentional off-roading. It's a fun route, but better to take it EASY the first few times you ride it. I'll be heading that way on Saturday.

A Buell with a Jardine pipe & and an ECM that isn't mapped for it. Not suprising. An SV is not as fast as an XB9 or XB12. Even so, straight line speed isn't the XB's strength. If your buddy can't corner an XB, that says more about him than the bike.

Whenever I see custom paint on a sportbike, I wonder how many times it was wrecked.

I would have to agree. If you're not interested in buying...stfu. It's not any of your business what someone is trying to get for their bike.

Do you have a pic of the ding in the tank?

Surging is usually caused by uneven combustion. The fix usually lies somewhere in the spark plugs, timing, or TPS.

Not yet, but very soon.

Will the real Squid Shady please stand up?

How can something suck and blow at the same time?

Wow! 1 comment about getting off the keyboard and actually riding and the peanut gallery is silent. Too easy. J_Cope In all seriousness. If you're into carving corners and hyper legal speeds, XBs are very hard to beat. It won't have the top end of your 675, but it has a big fat torque curve that puts lots of useable power to the pavement. Other things like the lash free driveline and ZTL have advantages that you have to be in the saddle to appreciate.

It's hard to ride a spec sheet. Lets hit the twisties...when you catch up (I'll be the guy with his helmet off who is checking his watch wondering where you are) you can tell me how inferior my Buell is and talk samck about the rubber band drive.

Buell bashers always puzzle me... People seem to like the SV650 motor, compare it to the Buell XB9 motor Buell makes more HP Buell makes more torque Buell requires less maintenace Buell gets better MPG

Have you ever ridden one??? The handling is outstanding.

Bump for a really clean 919. I have several folks interested, but the bike is still available.

I'm kinda old school...not really into Star Trek 90210

The XB chassis & suspension are the best I have ridden. The mill is fine for street duty, but it's not going to blow anyone away on the track. People that like to scan spec sheets, prolly won't buy one. If you spend any time on one (with the suspension setup correctly) there is alot to like. It's kinda like putting a big block Chevy in a Porsche 911 GT3--not for everyone, but I like mine. Speaking of motors...the 919 has the best street motor I have ridden. Plenty of torque and a very linear power delivery. Little shifting required, it'll pull hard in 6th gear from 2,500 to the redline.
