Does anybody have a motorcycle trailer that they would loan or rent for a day? I may be picking up another ride.

LEOs use the tools they have available, including the internet. Posting a time and route where a bunch of sportbikes may be exceeding the speed limit just seems like making their jobs too easy. If I was going to drive home from the bar after a few beers, I wouldn't post that either. It would take them about 3 minutes to do a sweep of a few forums. I think it's a matter of whether or not they are focusing on motorcycles at the present time.

That is your opinion. Personally, I have an issue with telling children what to believe. They should be afforded the right of making up their own minds. Present both sides to them so they are able to make their own decisions when they are old enough. Creation vs. Evolution is a perfect example (not trying to go off on that tangent). If a child asks which is true, how about in an UNBIASED manner... Some people believe in creation and here is why...A, B, C Some people believe in evolution and here is why...A, B, C

Maybe my post wasn't clear. In the military there IS pressure to be a part of Christian activities. If you try to fight something like that, your military career is likely finished. Legally, If someone joins the military and does not want to be part of Christian activities that is 100% their choice. You are not asked to forgo Freedom of Religion when you sign a military contract.

Pauly, I absolutely disagree. The role of the U.S. Military is to defend America and American values. One of those values is freedom of religion. As a former U.S. Marine I can tell you there is definitely a Christian base to the U.S. Military. Every company has a chaplan. If someone joins the military and does not want to be part of Christian activities that is 100% their choice.

It all depends on how 'sporty' you are going to sport tour. 2-up touring is going to limit your options. Honda STs, FJRs, and BMWs are prolly your best choices but they are spendy. I know a couple that did some light touring on a modded 1st generation FZ1. I've done alot of sport touring. My preference is sport standards with a few addons. You have many more options with riding positions by changing bars than you do with clipons/helibars. I have done several 4 day 2,000+ mile trips on this:

I happen to own and operate a profitable business and I'll say this: --Finding reasons not to accept peoples money are bad for business --Pricing models that aren't clear to customers are bad for business --The cost less now and cost more later model is not used very often. Airlines use it, and we all know how well they are doing. Kirk can run his business anyway he sees fit, however, buying pictures sight unseen seems counter intuituve to me. If it were me, I would bring a laptop to the track and let people see pictures that day.

There are some excellent twisty motorcycle roads in that part of WV. I've done a few 4 day 2,000+ mile trips through WV and VA. Have fun.

Not sure what your route is...but WV 33 from Harman, WV to Harrisonburg, VA is one of the finest, smoothest, twistiest motorcycle roads you will ever see. I have ridden from Cleveland to Harrisonburg in 1 day several times. Lots of cheap hotels and college bars in Harrisonburg.

I just bought a used rear shock from Manuel Cycle. The price was right and the guy I dealt with knew his stuff.

I think it's pretty cool to see an American bike on the podium. I also think it's pretty cool to see a first year team beat the LONG established factory teams. A few things...It's difficult to have a class where I4s and Twins can compete equally. AMA tried to make a level playing field. In the last race I saw, the top 6 finshers were on 6 different bikes...that seems pretty even. Before the season, no one knew if the Buell would even be competitive. Give some credit to Eslick, it's not like Buells are sweeping the podium. I'm not ready bash the Buell because: --The Buell hasn't qualifed on the Pole or set the fastest lap in a race. --The Buell is already penalized 20 lbs over the 600cc bikes. --The fastest bike in the class is the Aprilia, and it's best finish so far is 6th. --Eslick has been riding his ASS off. If you see a Buell sweep or Eslick gapping the field by 15 seconds, I think that they will add another 10 lbs to the Buell. Especailly now that NASCAR owns AMA Pro Racing.

I prefer hex sockets over keys or T handles. That way I can use them with a torque wrench. Generally, I don't touch anything on my bike(s) without torque wrenches (ft/lbs & in/lbs) and a factory service manual. Surprisingly, Husky (Home Depot) makes really good hex and torx sockets.

Does anyone have an owner's manual for a 97-98 CBR600F3? Would you be nice enough to tell me the suspension settings for the rear shock? I am using an F3 shock to update the suspension on a Honda 919 and need the adjustment settings for the rear shock. --thx.
