  1. Better be a good taco, seeing who you're talking to there!
  2. Be sure to have chili saturday night Chev and Jagz!
  3. Just doesn't sound right. Quarter liter and half liter kinda has a ring to it.
  4. :golfclap: ? That's a real smiley on some other board, i forget which though! Should be more like :standing ovation: though!
  5. Wow! I just came across this, and was about to repost bump.
  6. Parting ways with an old Interceptor? Want another? A 500 at that? Welcome!
  7. I wasn't far off track, just headed the wrong way off track, and had a passenger! Not to mention a not-so-lenient LEO!
  8. I said if you're feeling lucky to do it! Since you feel lucky, go ahead! I'm not endorsing such behavior. I guess it's just another case of sarcasm wasted.
  9. Just don't look at a cop the wrong way, driving a car that LBTS! That go tme caught the last time, which was about 13 or so years ago. Lesson learned! Funny story about that, i hadn't driven in about a year and a half, my dad took me in my car to take the test to get back on the road (I had 12 points, had to get a permit, take test, etc.) He said let's stop and you can drive, I said no. I went in, took the permit test, the proceeded to the driving test, and passed with like a 95% on everything! They wouldn't let me get the permit, then go around the block, it had to be permit test, right into the driving test.
  10. For the most part, if you ride sensibly, you're not going to draw any attention to yourself, and have nothing to worry about, as long as the bike functions properly, signals, etc... Back in the day, I drove without a license, suspended license, no insurance, etc. all the time!
  11. NOt at all! I said if YOU'RE feeling lucky!
  12. Ok, that's pretty much what they had said. Fortunate thing in the situation I'm talking about, they're not on a main road, so a test dirve is not very likely to get them in trouble, LEO's aren't around very often.
  13. From what I've seen, you're not exactly considered sane though!
  14. You may want to contact someone that knows the law, such as a lawyer, or higher ranking law enforcement officer on that one. I'm oretty sure the new car thing is covered, but I really don't think the rebuilds are, until they're inspected. The guys I know drive them to the inspection, with no plates. They were told that it was legal to do so. Personally, I would look into it before I did that!
  15. What they are REALLY looking for is stolen parts. I know some people that go through the process many times a year, and I don't know that they even check the signals, etc, but if there's a VIN tag missing, or painted over, they can, and many times do, confiscate the parts. It's actually the Highway Patrol that does the inspections in central Ohio. I'm not sure if it's different in oher parts of the state. I'm not trying to bust on you Tyler, just making sure that the correct info is out there. The short answer is get the inspection done before riding it, unless you're prepared for the penalties if you get caught. If you re feelin lucky, toss a plate on it and whoolie it past a cop!
  16. It took me about 5 mins, with a couple minute break in the middle to get it going on Android. Most of the time was typing in the URL in the Android's browser, or I could have typed it into the Market to find it. I had to go outside to get a gps signal before it updated my location. It found me within about 50 ft.
  17. I was wondering how long it would take for this to be posted! I haven't kept track very well, but I'm going to say in the 4-6k range. I'm not done either, but I don't ride nearly as much in the cold, since riding to work is a really short ride.
  18. I know a couple guys that have wings from that era, one I'm sure has something like that already, and the bike just sits around anyway, and the other has taken off all the extra chrome and stuff, so I doubt he'd be interested either. I just find it interesting that I know 2 people off hand, and neither would want it!
  19. But he loves the puppies so much that he kicks them into the curb!
  20. It is sad that most of the time when people get together to try and bring a bad thing into the light, it gets all screwed up, and money is usually what screws it up. (making a generalization here)
