  1. I was SO tempted today! The day wasn't so bad, just the fact that I was supposed to have tomorrow off, they negotiated a half day, then the time they want me to leave doesn't leave me enough time to do what we wanted to do. Ugh...
  2. Let's see... No food for the next 3 weeks, stop paying rent and utilities for a couple weeks, and I think I might have enough! I wish that was an option...
  3. That's what I'm wondering. My FAR SUPERIOR HTC's never need rebooting Other than the stupid hardware keyboard on the EVO Shift giving fits, I don't remember any real issues that could be considered more than iPhone users deal with.
  4. No, no... We're all the cool crowd. We don't need an Apple "status device" to compensate.
  5. Are you liking the HTC one? It's basically the same phone as my EVO LTE, which has been AWESOME!
  6. The comments that I have heard from several Apple fans that they're more compatible because they're developing for a single hardware platform is BS. The iPhone 5 (I'm guess the 5s and 5c as well) are not listed as compatible with the Chevy Mylink (Cadillac Cue, and whatever the other divisions are calling it) but the 3 through 4s is. Most of the time the 5 will work, but it's not consistent. The Android compatibility is HUGE.
  7. Hit up RFM. Probably have to get him over on Facebook though.
  8. Heath Ohio voted them out as well. I think they were there just about a year.
  9. Here's one a couple years older and about $20k less: http://www.dennydotson.com/2009-Nissan-GTR/Used-Coupe/Johnstown-OH/8770/3435589/Details.aspx
  10. This. The chain really wears, but it appears as "stretching." I usually measure the slack on the bottom, and I go for around 3/4" and that's supposed to be checked in multiple spots around the chain.

    Shameless...

This is post 10,685 for me, since 2009, slacker!
  12. Yeah, it was pretty much a waste of my time, other than talking to a couple people I know that were there. At least it's till just $5 to get in.
  13. Sources for your info? I'd be interested in knowing.
  14. What time Sunday? IF I go over, it will be Sunday afternoon, maybe around 2, or maybe earlier in the day Monday.
  15. Agreed. Take your pick! Maybe BOTH?
  16. On my phone, the "Auto Upload" setting is in the settings for the camera.
  17. Phone. You need to turn off "Auto Upload". I had it on for a while, and set the upload folder to one that I didn't have shared so that I would have to make it publicly available. What's Google Plus? I seem to have forgotten.
  18. I'm pretty sure that "THEY" aren't losing much money. The technician that screwed it up is the one that's losing the most. Well, that is unless they pay by the hour, instead of flat rate, which I highly doubt. That's not the issue, the issue is that they took good care of you in this situation, and you don't always get that
  19. Last time I went, they went down by Zanesville, then they made way back to Heath for the finish.
  20. I can pretty much guarantee it was WAY more than 10 minutes. It was likely at least an hour, depending on where he had to go.
  21. Meet at Roosters on S Hamilton Rd, 11:45 departure time. This run is a parade style ride, all bikes together, all cross traffic stopped, etc...
  22. Appearance of the vehicle is somewhat important, as in not an BTS truck with rust holes all over the place, gushing oil leaving stains in clients' driveways. It can be a 1985 van or truck, and as long as it's clean, and not BTS I wouldn't question it. A much newer vehicle that's dented all over, and dirty won't be as appealing to a customer to have in their driveway while you're there. Get some business cards, and when you hand them out always hand out more than one, and let the recipient of your cards know that you value their recommendation, and that if they know anyone that needs your services to give them your card. The credit card reader is VERY CRUCIAL to your business these days. One reason, there is an emotional attachment to the cash that they will be counting out to hand to you. With a card, it's just another swipe. Any financial teachings that I have heard have told me that as a consumer to always pay cash for that very reason, to help control your spending. but as a business you want to make it easier for them to pay you, and cash is tougher to let go of!
  23. I remember that! I went the following year, as well. I don't think I'll be making it this year. It's looking like this year the only action the bike is going to see is the 4.25 mile commute to and from work.
