  1. 1985 Honda Interceptor 500

    Likes:

Old School. You just don't see many of them anymore.

Decent power for it's size and age.

    Bought it really cheap.

    V4.

Handles decent, for it's age, and era.

    Upright riding position.

Butchered banana seat is pretty comfy.

I've always liked the red, white and blue paint scheme, and the V4 sound!

    Dislikes:

    Engine parts are scarce.

Being a V4, some things are harder to work on.

    It's old.

    Needs LOT's of cosmetic work.

    Can't believe I own a Hon-duh!

If I could get the valve issues settled on this thing I would be riding it all the time. I put some miles on it last year, just to have some of the problems that normally pop up on the VF500 bite me in the butt.

  2. gawd, memories... Brit bikes would snap the center stand up if they leaned a small amount. So picture me setting BSAs in a row, and one snaps the center stand up and wobbles over and taps the next one, and it's center stand snaps up. And I'm holding one in each hand, and looking at a row of a dozen BSAs, waiting to fall over. And bike two is already touching bike three.

Help... a little help here... (louder) .... serious, a little help over here!

    we fixed it...

I think I could just about picture this happening to you!

  3. Aww man, sorry to hear this. It will get easier to deal with over time. Remember the good times. I have had several dogs and cats over the years and I cried each time they passed. The night before I had to put down my shepard/huskey mix ( named Jake), I made 2 large steaks, one for me and one for Jake. I sat with him on the floor and we both had steak and beer. I figured the beer would not do any harm. So even now, I still get a bit choked up when i hear that older country song called "Feed Jake".

Wow man, I LOVE that song. Now I need to find the CD and rip it so I can play it again. I know I have it here somewhere.

I have been around this dog, and she truly is a BIG part of their family. It saddens me greatly to hear this, almost to tears, knowing Dusty.

On a lighter note, we have a god here that I'll give ya! Eh, not really. Even with as much of a pain in the butt she's been, I'm sure that when she get's old it will be tough to see her go.

  4. That was funny. I also like the one with the bic lighters...kaboom!

I saw that on "Timewarp" on one of the Discovery channels. That show is awesome!

i need one of those blenders all the ones iv had cant even handle ice

I bought a cheapie $20 blender at Kroger to make smoothies. It tears up ice, but gets air pockets around the blades, and has to be stopped and shook to get it blending again, once the mixture gets too thick.

  5. all you gotta do is let me know and ill put the guns down (xbox season is over ;))

I WAS intent on going on the CSBA ride on the 17th, but plans got made that may hinder that, so I may have some time in the morning then.

About all I've been using the xbox for lately is Netflix.
